1st time today, unimpressed with the food. I ordered fried chicken and received a small boneless breast with a small side of mac n cheese. I expected a few pieces of chicken like most restaurants. My husband irdered the redfish and his portion was also very small. Not worth the price.
My husband and I (yes I know the name says timothy I'm.posting under him my name is Brittany ) went on a dinner date we wanted some thing other than chili's , road house etc. We ordered the queso chips and dip, the blackened fish and my husband had a steak. The sides were a salad, potato soup, fries and fried onions . Everything was awesome, from the soup to the sauce over the fish we had no room left for dessert which is rare for us lol its not that bad on price either we paid just under $70, (fish was 27)but well Worth every penny. We will be back !! Oh our server was also on top of everything from suggestions to checking on us service was excellent!!
8 oz sirloin, medium rare, was succulent and amazing taste. Been to Saltgrass several times and baked potato is best part of the meal. Service was excellent. Will be back on my next visit.
4-22-22.We went to eat at salt grass for dinner 2 adult meals and 3 kids meals. We all ordered steak med and med well. My kids steak came out med rare. And mine was well done. We sent it back, when it came back out, mine was still well, and the kids were med with a lot of pink. While we were waiting on our remake the waiter asked 3 times if we need the check. We didn’t even get to eat yet! Long story short this restaurant is really going down hill! Tonight’s service and food could be compared to McDonald’s at this point. Well we went across the street to long horn and got great food and quick service. It makes up for the last few visits that were not the best.
I had the pleasure of dinning in with my husband on an early Saturday evening at this restaurant as my first time experience. Jayln was our server for the evening. She was notably mostly attentive and pleasant for our entire service!I ordered the chicken fried steak with mash potatoes as my side. It tasted mediocre. The food temperature of my entree was not as hot as I would have liked. That's not as a big of a minus compared to absense of seasoning of my steak. It literally was cooked with no seasoning. The breading of my fried steak was adequately seasoned. The cream gravy most definitely made up for the deficit of seasoning, although, it didn't not provide the balance to the meal overall. It's very necessary to properly season protein. My mashed potatoes had ax sweet taste to them. Strange.
Horrible experience. Everyone’s food was COLD from the soup to the steaks. The manager Daniel did absolutely nothing. As we explained our experience, he proceeded to ask how long ago did we get the steaks. It doesn’t matter how long we’ve had the steaks. They were cold when the first came out, the were cold when we told the waitress, and they were cold while we were talking to Daniel. He also felt the need to explain that they put the steaks on the plates before they put the sides. I don’t care what the process is. There’s absolutely no reason why the inside of my steak should have been as cold as the outside. Absolutely horrible!!!!
Good food and service...
This was not a good experience. The food was marginal but the wait staff tried their best. The best thing about our lunch was the music, satisfying but not very filling!
Had a great dinner with family. Started with loaded fries as an appetizer. This was large enough to be an entry itself. Mustered up enough room to tackle the ribs and chicken breast. I had to tap out after the chicken. Wife had steak as usual with onion strings. My son enjoyed the salmon with a loaded potato. Let's just say our eyes were bigger than our stomachs. Made great leftover meals for next day.
Worst filet we’ve ever had!! It wasn’t seasoned at all and although the inside was cooked how we ordered, the outside was so badly charred it tasted awful and was super dry. We couldn’t eat more than a bite of each of our steaks. Do yourself a favor and go somewhere else if you want a steak
