Tried the rainbow and lemon salmon rolls, edamame, deviled egg, and key lime tarts.. all were good. Wanted to try their ramen, but it wasn't available.
Easily the worst sushi in lafayette. pieces of bones in the fish poorly prepared by clearly untrained kids who just walked in with zero sushi background. Definitely no respect for fish in this establishment, a true offense to any tastebuds. Their “special” roles were 80% cream cheese and cheap imitation crab, low quality fish very poorly cut and prepared. Incredibly poorly thought out rolls, clearly nobody here has ever even attempted to learn how to make sushi. $3 up charge for “no rice” which doesn’t even include sesame paper. Really garbage establishment. Rude waitress. There’s enough Botox in the clientele to take down an African elephant. And I’m sure they think they’re the nobu of lafayette. Tastes like they catch their fish out the vermillion
Delicious sushi. Try the salmon zest roll.Online ordering is horrible. Order app approximate pickup time is far from accurate and you aren't made aware of when your order is ready to pickup. Cold gyoza, warm sushi. /:
The staff were very friendly. The location was great. The sushi was good and the pork belly lettuce wraps were delicious. But the spicy gyoza soup was not so good. The food was a little on the pricey side, so I would probably only visit again for a special occasion.
Every thing was great. The food was delicious that we had, the atmosphere was simply wonderful. The major complaint I had was that they do not serve the Ramen that has been on their menu and is the only reason that we stopped in for dinner. So I would have given them at least a four star to five star experience but that is a major disappointment. Also to learn that they haven't had the Ramen to serve for over a year is ridiculous that they still have it on the menu.
My daughter said she wanted to try sushi for her first time ever. I am not in any way, shape, or form a knower of sushi. Our server, Kirby, was very patient, attentive, and informative seeing and knowing we had basically no idea about sushi. We very much so appreciated her patience with us being they were very busy. All in all a great experience and big kudos to Kirby for "dealing" with us "noobs." :)
The best sushi I've had in Lafayette! Great staff, fun atmosphere and amazing food.
If you want any to pay $500 for 10 average rolls (chef’s menu) and 2 bottles of good wine then this is your place. For their price point I expected precision and taste from sushi chefs that knows sushi not is still learning how to properly cut fish. Their chefs think that rolls stuffed with cream cheese and covering them with fried items is a substitute for quality high priced sushi.
The sushi here is always amazing!
Really good sushi and sashimi!
