Nikki helped me and was absolutely amazing. First time here, and first time in this beautiful town. The donuts were soooo damn good and the boudin with pepperjack... omg so damn good... I will be back before I head home... thank you for this experience
The drive-thru line wait was a little long but that's probably because some donuts were sold out and customers had to adjust their orders. The woman working the window was very cheerful and helped us make a selection based on our wants and what was still available.
Colorado Native visiting town....best donuts I've ever had! Come in the morning when the donuts are fresh. The creme filled and strawberry glazed donuts were absolutely to die for. Puts every donuts I've ever had to shame.
Lied about kitchen being closed because my seven year old asked for sprinkles, but then went into the kitchen and cooked 4 single donuts when they messed up our order and refused to refund the mistake.I would assume due to the amount of positive reviews that this place could do better, but whoever hired the 3 people working today at the Kaliste location needs to seriously reevaluate their requirements.
2 stars, because donuts are good even when they are a bit old tasting like these, but service is absolutely not good. I came in about 7:30am, ordered a buuunch of doughnuts. Have family in town and wanted to bring them breakfast. Ordered two glazed, 3 cake, 2 chocolate eclairs, 2 Bavarian chocolate, a cream cheese, a lemon, a chocolate filled, 2 glazed eclairs, a fritter, and a strawberry dipped. 2 ham and cheese, and a boudan pepper jack and some boudan balls. No pepper jack... Fine, give us a pulled pork. No problem. Why's this important? Well... I'll tell you. She packs our order while we wait. Given biiiig box, order two more beignet. She grabs them for us as I watch this time. Get our order, leave. Now I'm home. I have three cake, a fritter, a strawberry and two glazed Bavarian. That's it, besides the kolaches and the beignet. Where the heck is the rest of my order?!?!?!?! Now, I am only leaving this review because frankly this is the third time in a row this has happened and we hadnt been in a year because of this exact same service the other times. Plus not getting the order to feed everyone sucks. I'm not driving all the way back at over 4$ a gallon for gas. Like why didn't I check my order before leaving... Because I'm exhausted, it's 7:30am and I'm tired and just want to get food back before traffic starts. I think the attitudes at the counter could be improved. I'm very much more annoyed about my order because the girls at the counter just seem listless and annoyed they have to be there at 7am. Well, I'm annoyed I now need to cook actual breakfast for a bunch of annoying people who won't leave my house because they think I love them. Thanks Meches. P. S. The kolaches aren't even cooked, they're doughy and soggy.... Like eating raw dough out of a can. So. Thanks for this. Embarrassing.
I wish they would make more of the popular specialty donuts like Apple fritters. It is about 50/50% that they have 2 left by 10am. So that is the ONLY reason why it is not 5 stars!!!
The donuts and kolaches are always great! Daniella at the drive thru is a fantastic employee as well!
Well I can say this was the worst trip I have had here. Went in at 1030 am. All donuts were cold and tasted like they were probably made mega early or day prior. Service was not great either
The absolute best king cakes in Louisiana!! And the staff and service are always exceptional! We even get one every January as my son's birthday cake
Once a great place to go. Now a joke. The past three times I've gone they got the order wrong. They over cooking the kolache's. And don't even know the difference between some of there donuts. Asked for cinnamon sugar and got glazed.
