Great atmosphere and friendly staff!!

Absolutely loved this restaurant. Waiter was fantastic

Great staff amazing food and fast service

It was so fresh and delicious. Atmosphere was jiving and living.

This was our 1st trip to Prejeans since it changed owners & will be our last. They would not honor a $100 gift card I purchased just before they took Prejeans. Also the prices on all the menu items have increased about 20%. & the last issue I was over- charged by $21.

Prejeans has new owners and new chefs. We ate there this past week-end to try the crawfish enchiladas again and we so disappointed. I do not understand how things that were so good and turn now into a meal that is not even worth finishing. We have eaten now 3 times under the new ownership so we have tried and now it is time to move on.

We have been to a lot of restaurants recently trying to help out the community etc. This was the best by far so far. The food was great, service great and the portion sizes were great... I can not say enough good about this place. The special was great too.

First of all, I ate at Prejean's many years ago and remembered a great dining experience. We were in town for our grandson's baseball tournament. I was really surprised at the dinner menu, mostly fried food and catfish. By comparison, we ate at Pat's in Henderson and had crawfish bisque and crabmeat au gratin. Our meal came with a roll and we had to ask for butter??? Both my wife and I settled for fried catfish which came with a side of Macque Choux. We both tasted and agreed it had a moldy/mildew taste. I made the mistake of tasting it a second time to verify my first opinion and the food was definitely spoiled. We informed the waitress and she merely said she would tell the chef or more accurately the fry line cook. We returned to our hotel where I was up most of the night with gastrointestinal well into the next morning. Needless to say, I was disappointed in the menu, the lackadaisical service and their careless food handling in serving spoiled food to a guest. I'm not sure how this restaurant has declined so much over the years but suffice it to say, I won't be be going back.

Been going here for years. Stopped in and only to find out the menu is no longer the same, new owners and new chef. Prices are higher and I'm gonna guess these new folks are from New York as little to no seasoning was used in the food. Was terrible. Won't be back ever again. Waitress told us one of the owners sons was the new chefand was given the job in order to help his career but was actually driving the place into the ground.

Service could not have been better. Start with a cup of Gumbo, Fried Shrimp, and finish with the bread putting.
