Ordered an 11 pc. Family meal deal. As soon as they put the chicken in the car, it had the worst burnt grease smell. Opening the box, I found the chicken over fried as well (well past extra crispy). When I brought this issue to management, they responded that there was nothing they could do. They said that they had not received any "Filter Bags". Management was polite and curious and issued a full refund. However, why is this restaurant still serving chicken if they know that the grease is burnt? This is not the Popeyes I know.
They are so clean, nice and fast all the time. I think their chicken is awsome. Their food is always fresh and their cole slaw is so good. The sauce is always good.
Who doesn’t love Popeyes? The only thing I can complain about is that I always eat too much lol!
Not a fan of this one. $20 for what was easily the smallest sandwich I've ever gotten from any Popeyes and a 3 piece combo. Smallest wing I've ever seen in my life. Sprite tasted watered down and they didn't even fill up the cup for my Mac and cheese, like literally half full. If no stars was an option I'd have picked that. Will now be going back to this Popeyes.
Bad experience with this Popeye’s location #2805. Tried their Flounder Fish sandwich, which was terrible. Was not fresh. The fish was not hot. The bun was was squished on one side. Looked like the sandwich had been sitting for awhile (although my wife said she saw the man make the sandwich on the counter). I should have returned the sandwich for a refund, but I didn’t. I ate the whole crummy thing. And was sick, beginning about an hour later. Spent my evening eliminating the vile sandwich from my system from both ends, when I got home. Will never try this sandwich again or revisit this Popeyes location.When we arrived at this restaurant, a new work crew was coming on duty (600 pm). My wife didn’t like seeing male workers using the women’s bathroom.
Ordered New Flounder fish sandwich and fries. Sandwich was like warm and fries were Luke warm and soggy. I suppose it would have taste good if everything was crisp and hot. ☹️
So disappointed in my classic fish sandwich. ??? Bun was burned, no lettuce,pickles, or tartar sauce. A dab of mayo. No, I did not order plain. Had to add all that at home. ???
I would like to give Popeye’s on Verot in Lafayette LA a 5 star rating. The service was quick & the chicken was hot & fresh. Jeff is the manager who is very professional, personable, & courteous. He runs a tight ship!!! Kudos…
90% of the time, absolute trash, cold food, wrong order, and slow service for an extremely expensive fast food product. Especially avoid the Verot School / Ambassador location in Lafayette, LA.
I love their new Mac and Cheese. The only thing I didn't like was there new increased prices. Guaranteed that I will return no matter what the price is
