Everything was awesome from the atmosphere, the food, the music, margaritas and friendly staff. Only one problem and I will not go often is the chips and salsa is absolutely the worst ever. The chips don't taste right and the salsa is pure nastiness. Need some cilantro in the salsa and many other things. Sad because this place is great!! Update your chips and salsa and I would ho twice a week. And I'm not alone here
Dinner tonight was amazing. We walked in to be greeted with live music . The staff was great. And the food...SPECTACULAR!!!
When we were walking in, an employee opened the door for us which startled me (I'm startled easily though!). Don't know if it was custom or if he saw I was disabled with a cane and wanted to help me. . He brought us to the nearest booth although offered us one by the window. Although I'm independent and my husband was with me I appreciated his insight and compassion. Our waitress was very attentive, sweet, and nice. The food was delicious. The salsa was spicy but not like HOT spicy. I had the SP12 Los Tres Amigos which included a taco, and an enchilada with refried beans and rice. The only little complaint, was there was a lot of red sauce which my taco was in. I tried picking it up but it fell apart. But otherwise, everything was delicious. In some Mexican restaurants, I've been to their refried beans and rice is to be desired. My husband had the SP10 which included an enchilada, one burrito, a beef taco, and one tamale. He said there was too much red sauce and he didn't know if it was a buritto or 2 enchiladas because they looked the same and tasted the same. Although with the small complaints, we were satisfied. We will visit again.
We love the Puff Taco. The fish or shrimp tacos are great also. Tried the Cucumber Lime Water, which was delicious, especially on this scorching hot day. We stop by almost every time we are in Lafayette. Clean, atmosphere is great and the staff is very friendly.
Would not honor gift card. They verified it was activated for $50. I had ticket showing it was for $50. They said the card had been used before. I had never been in this place before. Whole situation did not make sense. I chose not to make a scene and just paid the bill.
loved the live music and atmosphere! amazing food and service, they have really good agua frescas (horchata and cucumber lime) and the Pedro’s quesadillas were delish!
I tried the Mexican mule last time and it was pretty good! My favorite dish is the Trio Fajitas 100% Recommended!!
The service was great, abit slow, but its a family restaurant, so there were more tables with 8+ people present, than small tables. The food was meh, the rice tasted processed and a bit old, and I had to tear off some of the tortilla to get to the actual cheese in the quesadilla, but the vegetarian enchiladas and chicken quesodilla was great. Thr best part which earned it the three stars was the drinks themselves! The cucumber lime refresher and the horchata were amazing!! They let us know that both are made in house and are made fresh each day! Highly reccomend those drinks. Only $3.50 each so for a cheap date one of those and some ala cart items will fill you up no problem!
Literally the simplest order… kids quesadilla no beans sub rice order of queso... get there and it’s incorrect on ticket. Get home… order still incorrect. Food was edible but not good enough to eat there again.
$17 for a plate of rice and beans with a "chimichanga", which according to the server is not a fried burrito, that's about 4 inches long. Total waste of money when you can get better for cheaper at La Hacienda.Edit: When I brought this to the attention of the manager she did try to make it better, so at least they have decent front house management.
