After years of being loyal customet felt mislead after being seved the salad porton of prefixee menu that was 9.99 now 16.99 i was told 4 dollar upcharge instituted as i mentioned befor i wolda bought a case of evaporated milk. But my big issue was i felt like a customer being attacked by a angry animal while being the only patron with an hour to close too weird. And i will add if one is willing to have an upcharge for a sauce thats equal how much credid for one not put.and for those that dont want to pay give them a menu with info prior to start just suggestions for ethical practices
Tonight's meal was the best I have had at a restaurant in years. The oyster Rockefeller bisque was rich and flavorsome with a fair amount of delayed heat. The Halibut special with lump crab meat was fresh, flakey goodness! The chocolate ganashe with raspberry sauce was delicious, especially with my last bit of red wine. Our waitress never dropped her smile. She knew the menu flawlessly. The entire experience was amazing.
Outstanding food. Ive been to italy 9 times for work and eaten good food there. This is damn sure a good quality product compared to Italian restaurants.
I enjoyed my appetizer my salad was drowned in oil no seasoning at all bland entree I could only eat the meat the rest was nasty bland overcooked noodles my husband's appetizer tasted liked warmed up cream of mushroom soup he had a good salad and his entrée was overcooked fish dry bland
I gave this restaurant two different tries and would like to share my experience. The wait staff are very kind and professional, no issues there. The first time I went, I ordered a main dish that had prosciutto and veal, I forget the name of it. While you cannot go wrong with prosciutto, the veal was so overcooked, hard, and dry, that it left much to be desired. I figured this might've been a fluke of something that wasn't as great so I decided to give the place a second try. I ordered a veal shank for my dinner on my visit here, and I ordered it medium rare and I was brought out a RAW veal that had been lightly seared. I politely asked for the veal to be cooked a little more so I wouldn't get sick, and I wish I had just bit my tongue and left. NEVER in my life have I had to send something back 3 TIMES before out of sheer embarrassment refusing to pay for it or ask a 4th time. The cook that night was absolutely awful and careless. I could tell in the responses and lack of correction that this was out of pure spite. I have never felt so ashamed and embarrassed in a restaurant in my life and I would never return or recommend to anyone
So very nice and elegant. Food was beyond delicious! The crab cakes are filled with lump crab meat.
Went with family after UL win!! Food was good, not outstanding like I thought it would be. We all had a good time. Go ragin cajuns
I Love this restaurant. Great date night atmosphere and food is delicious.
Softshell crab appetizer topped with crab meat and oyster pasta. Just awesome.
Everything has been good here starting with the warm bread & butter, but for an appetizer, we usually get the crab and artichoke hearts in cream sauce and it's always delicious! The lemon sorbet that's served before the main entree as a palate cleanser is a nice treat that reminds one of the old Sazzerac Restaurant in what was once the Fairmont Hotel in New Orleans. The sauces that come with the entrees are always top-notch, and my wife loves that the food is not flavored with the usual Cajun spicy heat that nearly every other restaurant uses. It's the small, quiet, intimate, local meeting place for the many repeat customers who have frequented this place for the past 30 years, and I certainly don't understand some of the 1-star review that I see!?!? We loved to be served by Troy, but have recently heard that he's no longer working here which makes us sad:(
