The service was good. The food was ok.. I got a steak and egg bowl, which is a great pick. The steak, ho however, was overcooked giving the meal a slightly burnt taste. My meal had been overlooked when the ticket was turned in. I'm sure this had something to do with the meal not being cooked properly. Overall I like Ihop, but was disappointed on this visit.
I don't go to IHOP often, but in the Lafayette area, the location on Ambassador is far better than the one in Carencro. The service as well as the food is more consistent. For the very economical prices, I feel you get a fair deal. The food won't knock your socks off, but it's worth every penny you spend on it.
Super friendly staff. Clean. Short staffed but they still kept up with everything and we didn't have to wait long. Even spoke with a cook and he was 10/10. Very kind, very hospitable.
We waited 10 minutes in the lobby before we were even greeted. Food was super greasy. AC must have not been working -we sweated while we ate and asked for more ice in our drinks. Waitress did the best she could with what she had. Food quality and environment has gone down dramatically. Bathrooms had a terrible smell. We will never go there again. If you want a decent breakfast-Find a Waffle House.
Food and service were very good. However, we noticed later that our waitress had added $4.00 to the $5.00 tip my son left her. That's the reason for 3 ?.
Service was poor and the inside of this building is in deplorable shape. Please do better. Found something black and hard in my pancakes. Food took a long time to come.
Best service I've recieved overall. Down home atmosphere and a very satisfying display of what I ordered. The pancakes were golden brown and evenly cooked and soft. The sampler was made as close to perfection as possible. Practically as if I took it right off the menu. I'm highly pleased with my experience
Ordered online with my pancoins. It was ready to go when I got there and was very good. I didn't realize tho that I must have ordered my chicken fried steak and eggs without gravy. I was sad about that. But I still ate it up.
This was the second time my wife and i had come. And i was not satisfied. I dont know if there is miscommunication between the servers and the kitchen staff, but there were two times now that i ordered a burrito that was supposed to come with the poblano queso and avocado. And i had to ask for it. I grew up eating here since i was a little kid. I noticed it decling over the years. I dont what is going on with them.
the waitress was very nice and attentive, but the manager was rude... my omelette was bland, and mom ordered the tilapia... it wasn't even a full fillet... also I could hear the cook arguing with the nice waitresses (who was right)
