Been here a few times and not exceptional at all, but neat atmosphere. We like to be outside and LOVE to support local businesses. This place is a horrible representation of what Lafayette is about which is “good people and always wanting to take care of you.” Embarrassing really. Long story short. Charged us $10/person just to reserve a table (& they are nothing out of the ordinary), there were 8 of us for a birthday. This isn’t refundable and they wanted to charge us another $10/person after we had been there for a while to stay there because there was a band (Julian Primeaux and we love him.) Well, we left. Not going to pay $160 just to be there. Hideaway management, you are IDIOTS!!!!!!! HERE’S A LESSON BECAUSE WHOEVER IS RUNNING THIS (could be gem) IS AN IDIOT!!!!!!!!. You wanted to charge us $80 JUST to reserve a table; we paid it. There were 8 of us that wanted to drink, eat, & be merry at your establishment & didn’t think you were even going to credit us that initial bogus charge . You then want to charge us another $10/person after the fact to stay. You would’ve had at LEAST $100 tab for each couple (4 couples x $100+ = $400). I knew under the circumstances you obviously couldn’t figure that out. Your manager came out, argued wanting to charge us another $80 and lost out on at least $400+. ?♂️ ? Seriously?? ? ? Omg, people of today. We left, went a block away, had live music, sat outside, had good food & drinks, and had a blast!!! Hideaway, never again!!!!!
The patio area has a fun, casual vibe. The bands are great and not so loud you can't hold a conversation.

Good burgers at great price, outdoor seating, super friendly service as Brooke was taking good care of us, and live music to top it off. What more to ask for?
Great music almost every night, great food in a relaxed fun atmosphere. Bring your dancing shoes and an appetite.
Great, wholesome menu with amazing fries and burgers that seem to have been created with the idea of ‘home-made’ meets artistic cuisine, providing you and your tastebuds with happy, happy moments! :)
Was an eh experience. Table of 15 people. Walked in with gifts, the reason for out get together. Waitress didn't even greet us before " um we have a no outside food or drink policy.. what exactly is 15 ppl gonna do with 4 glasses and a bottle of wine display. I get theres a policy but could have gone about the delivery different. Wasn't very friendly or attentive.Items were added to bill that wasn't requested to our order. Fyi the hanger steak is nothing like a new york steak. Had we not had a meat manager at our table we would have been upset. Great atmosphere wish the service was better quality.
