2 stars are purely for atmosphere, very cozy. However, the burger patties were dry, sauce was vile, the egg was over cooked and the waitress and host were very short with us. I understand the cost of everything is up right now, but 14 dollars for a burger like this does not seem fair. Will not be returning.
I've been to this place twice, and both times were horrible experiences. The last time I ever came here, nobody was standing at the door to greet me, and whenever I did see the waiter, she flashed a quick frown at me as if I did something to her.I'm convinced that the only people the tend to is the rich (considering it's right down the street from River Ranch), and they look down on the poor.I don't understand it tho, you're all just waiters with no type of degree, or experience in anything other than serving food. It's all good tho, you get what you give. Have a nice day.Edit: We got the owner trying to be politically correct right beneath me, but they could've trained their employees how to act like decent human beings, its called gratitude. Nobody else received a reply...You better off going getting a Hot & Spicy from McDonalds, or better yet, go to Target and cook your own food.
It may not be entirely their fault (thanks corrupt politicians), but $50 for two bacon cheeseburgers, a sour cream and cheese baked potato, and water is ridiculous. The atmosphere was cozy (love the open fireplace) and the service was very good. The burgers were good and cooked to the proper temperature but they weren't exceptional and at $14/burger I can't see too many return trips to Ground Pat'i.All in all, in was a pleasant experience but the value for money just isn't there.
This was my 11.00 chicken. Very dry. Baked potato was scorched. Husbands burger was good. I did get small cup of French onion with the chicken nugget but without crouton or cheese.
Food was pretty good. Place was awesome. Food prices are just a little overpriced. However, understanding there is a spike in cost of supplies and food demand that effects this. Overall, everything was great. Server was very nice.
Waitress was not attentive. Wait time for ordering and food was very long. She was busy trying to fix some machine by a tv. She rudely corrected what I said while ordering. Customers who sat down after us received food before us. Food was cold. Food wasn’t that good.
Generously giving this place a one star review. They forget items almost every time I order from here and the girl who answers the phone (Monday Nov 8) was extremely rude and did not offer any refund when two burgers I ordered were crispy and black throughout. Threw away everything we ordered except a brown baked potato that was also overcooked. Will not be coming back here ever again.
Quaint little place. Cute decor. Good food. Burgers cooked to order...crispy fries. Sweet tea could be a bit sweeter...but I'm from Texas ?
Not impressed with what we got for take out. Not even close to what was advertised online.
My daughter and I ate at the Kaliste Saloom location on 9/25/21 and will never go again. We waited for about 30 minutes for 2 burgers and fries and when they came the fries were cold and My burger patty was cold with 2 pieces of non melted cheese. The tomato was half of a slice, super thin and looked like it had been at the bottom of the bin for a couple of days. Hardly any lettuce. Poor quality burger! The condiment bottles all had mayo, mustard and ketchup on them, which made me question the cleanliness of the whole place. And the kicker is that not one employee was wearing a mask!!
