My name is Phillip, I order from firehouse on a regular basis, 2-3 times a week, today I ordered the medium spicy chicken sub, they were out of medium boxes, got it in a hamburger size box, the sandwich was half the size of what it used to be and didn’t have much chicken on it, went up almost 1.50, out of curiosity I called New Iberia location, because I had gotten to be friends with Shawna in Lafayette, night manager, before going to New Iberia and to top it off, I asked the price in New Iberia of sandwich,7.66 plus tax, I paid 9.21 in Lafayette, , plus the sandwich was about a third less in size and Very smaller Portion,, Disappointing to say the least, Most of the people know me and I know a lot, especially Isaiah, he is one of the nicest guy, pleasant personality, courteous, Professional I understand prices have to go up these days, but the discrepancy in price puzzled me. I have always given a 5 star, today I did a 2
Me and my wife use to eat here regularly. My most recent experience was awful I can't speak to the quality of the food because I never received any service there was 3 people behind the counter whom all spoke to me and acknowledged my presence but never took my order two of which were doing a one person job with the soda machine I say one person because the other seemed to be just keeping the other company because she was literally holding her phone looking at it the entire time and the gentleman behind the counter seemed to not want to put gloves on since he was working the register basically they wanted each other to see to my needs and neither took any initiative I decided to sit and give them time to address me thinking maybe they had something pressing I couldn't see going on but nothing came from my patience my order was never taken I was the only customer in the store after another gentleman had left after they remade his sandwich because they fully dressed it after he only requested BBQ smh sad to see the quality of service reach this low.
Food is okay but the service and way they cooperate is dumb and slow. Ordered from UberEats and got only my sandwich, not the chips or drink I paid for. Had to call them and they didn’t even get it right the second time. Uber driver had to go back twice because they didn’t put the chips in the bag. Anyways. Just an annoying experience
If you loved going here and trying out different hot sauces on your sandwich those days are over. Bring back the hot sauce bar.
Pam is the best! I love her as a person. She's a very smart and out going manager and she's always nice to us. Request her when u go and you'll see what I mean. She's a master with the sub making too. Thank you ❤️
Clean, very spacious interior. Fast, friendly service. Could tell people were working hard there. Will gladly visit again. Great sub!
Went here for both lunch and dinner as it was close to my hotel. They have a digital touchscreen soda machine too! Service was great and tasty sandwiches!
Visited at 6:30 in the evening and the whole crew seemed exhausted and barely able to engage with customers. Quality of food was good although sub was not as hot as I personally like.
