Okay so the reviews aren’t lying. These biscuits are earth shattering. This place is like 6 or 7 stars. Love the vibe, nice friendly staff, lots of locals, and the food was crazy good. Among my absolute elite breakfast experiences. Louisiana doesn’t mess around with their biscuits apparently. I should’ve assumed, but wow really this was great.
This is one of the best breakfast places in Lafayette, great biscuits, chicken and smothered potatoes.
I thought the fruit salad was fresh and great. I also thought the workers were super friendly. We went in early in the morning, shortly after they opened so the food was definitely fresh. Our issue was just in the taste. The biscuits were almost flavorless and kind of had a slight twang (think baking soda taste). Maybe it is just our taste buds but party of 3 and we all just ate the meat off our biscuits and had fruit. $25 not well spent. I will say portions are big enough!! And again the staff was great.
My favorite breakfast place by far! This place made me like biscuits.Their blueberry biscuit is a dream. Their egg and meat biscuits are fantastic and super fairly priced.Great place for quick, friendly service and good eats.
Of course I had to try this neighborhood hot spot. I got the combo box #1 to include 3 ham egg and cheese, 1 blueberry, 1 strawberry and one plain biscuit.Deliciousness! Yes, real egg! My favorite part was how the egg yolk in my ham egg and cheese sandwich was slighty runny.Can't beat the value of these tastefully made breakfast goods!
I visited Edie's Biscuits yesterday (for the first time) at around 11 am, right after I underwent a minor surgical procedure at the hospital. I was tired and hungry after fasting and it was a little busy, but that is always a good sign that the food is good:) When it was my time to place my order, the kind man behind the counter noticed my hospital bracelets and immediately went to the kitchen and brought me something to eat because he knew I had been fasting. Then, two other kind men let me sit with them to eat. Afterwards, I felt so much better!! Thank you to the kind gentleman behind the counter and the two nice guys who let me sit with them to eat. And by the way, the biscuits and the food was DELICIOUS!!
Best place to stop for an awesome breakfast
Visiting our son who’s working in Lafayette. We live in California, but I’m originally from Alabama. This place is phenomenal and I don’t believe I’ve a decent biscuit since I left the South years ago.
FREAKING AWESOME! Blueberry biscuits with grits is my go to..My mom got the Honey Biscuit and a Apple Walnut Kolache all sweet and excellent. The biscuits are moist and perfect. Service is quick and friendly. Support Local !
