There are many places in Lafayette, Louisiana where you can get boiled crawfish during the season. I have eaten at many and they are all excellent. That said there is no where they are as good as Dwight’s. They are perfectly seasoned. You can order regular or hot. I like hot seasoning but for me the regular is perfect. It has enough that you notice it but it does not overwhelm the other flavors. This is a casual, friendly restaurant. Nothing fancy here. They have an extensive seafood menu but I go for the crawfish. Service is quick and friendly. There is free on site parking but the lot fills up fast. They do not take reservations and it is a very popular place so on the weekends arrive early. I really love boiled crawfish and I highly recommend Dwight’s. There are no better crawfish anywhere.

Amazingly good seafood in a bright, open, and friendly setting. Everything was delicious, from the fried foods, to the boiled seafood, to the grilled fare. With food that good, it's no wonder that it can get busy here, so be prepared to wait a while for a table, especially if you go during peak hours on the weekend. It's definitely worth the wait, though!
The best plate lunch restaurant in Cajun country has a lot going for it, including boiled crawfish in season and barbecue on Sundays. A must stop for tourists.
I love plate lunches. I've eaten at every plate lunch place I know of and Dwight's has remained one of my favorites for years. There's 8-12 main courses to choose from daily, same with sides and a variety of bread puddings and cheesecakes to choose from if you're in the mood for dessert.The BBQ pork steak is so tender you can cut it with a plastic spoon. Best crawfish in town, hands down. Staff is awesome and always takes great care of us. Their barbecue is also delicious.

We had a fantastic experience at Dwight’s. The crawfish were seasoned well, the atmosphere was great, and the service was impeccable. We were waited on by Quiana and she never missed a beat. Look forward to this being our new boiled seafood spot! ?
