This place should not be in business. Poor service and garbage attitudes by the staff. Not to mention. They have not grasped the concept of what a Hibachi grille is. Yes we had a party of 14 but we were sat at a two grille table with one cook cooking on one side. Your pay for the experience and the food. What kind of experience is it to watch the a** end of the cook the entire time. If I could give this place a zero, I would.

Dozo is absolutely my favorite hibachi place in Lafayette. The food is absolutely fantastic. When you order hibachi, you get a 3 piece appetizer sampler, beef soup, and a salad before they start cooking. Wonderful place

took FOREVER to come out with food, even though we made reservations.. sat for an hour and a half and then just got the appetizers.. not even the actual habachi, very disappointing.
I hadnt been here in years but I was in town and my family wanted hibachi so this was the place to go. We were fortunate to arrive during happy hour but the staff was limited so drinks took a while. The wonder boy roll and the lemon drops were as tasty as I remembered ?I ordered the trio that came with chicken, steak, and shrimp. I went with the standard beef onion broth. I was going to do the miso for $1 more but decided not to. Nice broth. The peanut sauce on the salad was not as overwhelming as before. The meal came with noodles And rice, which was a nice surprise. Everything was seasoned well and the chef was very patient and entertaining. Great times!
Oh my God the money they charge for this little bit of food. Didn't even give you soup and salad. Will never go again.
