I asked for a quieter table , as we were meeting my son, daughter-in-law,and new grandson for dinner. We were seated in a booth by the bar. LOUD AS [email protected]#K! When I asked for a quieter table , I was told " we have big parties. That is the quiet table.
Don's is consistently excellent. We were pleased to be able to get a reservation on a busy Sunday afternoon. Our server, Simone was truly excellent!
I tried the catfish Acadian and seafood gumbo and they were both delicious! I highly recommend their food.
I have come here for years and not once have I had a negative experience; my dad and I shared char grilled oysters and had a waiter named Tigre who was conscientious and very attentive and even gave a wet towel wipe after finishing lunch. A wonderful restaurant.
If you love seafood it's a yes. Seafood spinach dip was delicious. Perfect for a family dinner or a date.
We made a reservation on OpenTable. When we arrived five minutes after the appointed time, we were informed that there was a 45 minute wait. I explained that we had reservations on OpenTable, and I was told that they donât pay any attention to open table. After a discussion, they agreed to Seat us when someone Left. We ended up waiting about 10 minutes. But I think it is important that you know that they do not pay attention to the open table reservations.
