We just went into cracker barrel for breakfast. 1st off, their menu has downsized greatly. The young lady at the greeting area was asked if she could seat us along the window. She said she could not. She seats us in the middle where the tables are almost connected to other patrons. It's almost like you are sharing a table with total strangers. I explained that we don't want to have to be seated right near anyone and if it would be ok to sit along the petition wall. She said no, she couldn't sit us there, so we sat in the middle. We sat appropriately 10 minutes. No one greeted or took our drink orders. Then the same young lady brings 2 other patrons in and sit them in the exact spot we asked her if we could sit. I told my husband, let's just go. We left and came over to their competitor, who are awesome in customer service and at least we have a nice menu for affordable price.

I love it here. The store is full of unique stuff and I always leave with something. The service is always great, but yesterday was the best ❤. All the people who work here are so sweet. The food is always good!

We tried to dine in. We came in after a stormy 6 hour drive from MS and walked across from motel in Lafayette, LA. Location great. No one would seat us. No hostess. I went to the counter and waited behind customer checking out to ask the only cashier if there was a hostess. She called on her button. Still waited. Folks behind us, people in kitchen could be seen. The cashier looked over at us between her checkouts and walked to the back and talked to them. She looked apologetic and said they would been there soon. 5 people/groups behind us… we waited 5 more minutes and turned and left. Very disgusted. We were hungry and tired and didn’t stop on the way in because we planned to eat at Cracker Barrel after we checked in. We spent no money in the store. This is the 1st time to eat out since the pandemic. My husband was huge mad. We ate a bag of chips from the motel and went to bed. We will never try them again. I shouldn’t even give one star but it would look like no rating if I left it off.

We had to wait about an hour to get our food. It’s Easter time but it’s way too long. Anw, my chicken bacon with maple syrup was good. However, my mom’s food which had ham were so terrible. The ham is super salty. I taste the leftover and I can’t stand how salty it it. So overall it can be only 3 stars. The store had a lot of cute stuffs

Didn't feel safe here. Felt like we were going to get robbed in the parking lot. Place was the most dead cracker barrel I've been to ever. Didn't take long to find out why. All the panhandlers hang out in the area. Before we could make it in to the restaurant a panhandler drove right up to us with his emergency cash needs. As we head in, each corner of the store has two signs "remember to lock your car doors and remove your valuables". So we ordered. The waiter was nice but didn't seem to know the menu fully. All the staff seemed nice. The food was fine. On the way out another panhandler caught up to us in their SUV with a cash emergency. Amazing. These people must have made so much money panhandling on the corner, they now have enough cash for cars.

I was really sad with my salad and the service. I understand times are hard but we need to maintain good quality if a restaurant is to survive. New staff needs to be trained, even though smiling should be a common skill for servers/wait staff.

Disappointed...they started charging an extra .49cents for "plain" hashbrowns. The hashbrown casserole is what comes with breakfast. So if you want plain you have to pay extra. I'm sorry, but, it is PLAIN...nothing extra, unlike the casserole. PLAIN!!! I am basically paying an extra 50cents for you to cook it cos its not what comes with the meal. Again, I'm sorry, but this is a restaurant...you cook food!! I fail to see why I should pay extra for plain or for you to cook it that way!!! This is ridiculous and stupid!

Super friendly staff! We really appreciate that Cracker Barrel allows RVers to stay overnight for a safe place to rest and we always patronize by buying dinner or breakfast as a thank you, as everyone should.

Had breakfast here on March 3. Food was good but service was bad. I would hope this is due by not being recovered by covid. The servers were working hard, but I think they were undrestaffed. Servers were friendly. Took over an hour from the time we sat down, till the time we left, which is unusual for a Cracker Barrel. I may be generous giving 4, but I would return to give another chance.

Meals were very inexpensive and Food was great! Service was great too! The country store had lots of cute boutique items. Prices were very reasonable for clothes and gifts. They now serve alcoholic beverages.
