Its a no for me. Sad part is I knew better ! I order over the phone. Got there in 10 mins and dude at window told me to pull up. nah, Im not playing that game. Give me money back. So right then, all of a sudden my food comes out of no where. Food was trash. Fries just horrible and poboy was NOT fresh. Lettuce was nasty, everything was just yuck! The dog at the local part didn’t even want the food. Never again. Stay away from these places. Need more sista and brotha establishments on north side of town.
We ordered a large shrimp platter didn't get mo fries and a shrimp fried rice with one shrimp in it and the rice was old. The person that delivery the food didn't even put the food in my hands .put it by the door bad service bad experience won't do delivery anymore will check all orders.
Make sure you u get a receipt or they'll charge you whatever they want. When asked for a receipt..(owner) he all of a sudden overcharged me said he owed my refund for $2.16
I remember when building used to be Seafood Island years ago. Then it became Charlie's burned at a certain point in time. So they were closed for a while until they rebuilt it. Now they are back in action!! I absolutely LOVE their food. They definitely give you your money's worth. I can never finish my food in one eating session because of the amount. Then again, that's just me, and my mom, and my grandma.? I think it's safe to say, "Charlie's will HOOK YOU UP!!"❤️ Check them out!!
Tasty seafood combination platter: fried shrimp and fried catfish with potato salad, garlic bread and thick french fries which was toooo much since it came with french fries as well. Portion size was great for the price.
The food wasn’t cooked properly and really lacked flavor. Total waste of money. Fries . . . Not cooked all the way and soggy. Fried fish. . . not cooked all the way and soggy. Fried broccoli . . . tasted like the undercooked fried fish which was off-putting. Hamburger steak was extra special. . . How can something be burnt, dry, and taste like water all at once? The gravy was more like seasoned water with some onions in it (thanks, because it was so watery it leaked through the Togo box and all over my car!). Won’t be trying this place again. Not only a waste of money, but now I gotta clean my car, then go get some food somewhere else.

I absolutely love this place. The catfish is the only thing I get but it's so good that I visit at least once a week. The tartar sauce is also amazing, and I never liked tartar sauce before I tasted this version of it. I have never had a bad visit and the service has always been spectacular.
