Hands down the best classiest place in town for a special occasion date/dinner. If you are looking for a true dining experience go here. Professional servers and fantastic food.
Chelsea, our server, was incredibly knowledgeable about the food and wine selection. The food was eclectic, scrumptious - my only complaint would be that the Foie Gras portion was a tad on the small size. I ordered the dish for both and appetizer and a dessert and the chef was kind enough to do a delicious fruited Foie Gras tarte!
Our dinner experience was outstanding. The menu had some unique items that we really enjoyed trying. The food was excellent and the service from our server Branden was off the charts. Would highly recommend this restaurant!
The service was outstanding. Our waiter was Louis and he was outstanding. One of our party had challenging food allergies and he handled that with poise and knowledge. The food was creative and delicious. We were not rushed and were able to enjoy our meal at a comfortable pace. This was our second visit to CV and both times were outstanding.

Our daughter was in town from MT and after she satisfied herself with a shrimp po-boy and other traditional area foods, she wanted something special. Cafe Vermillionvillle was just the perfect place. Outstanding service and the food was incredible! Believe me- the pork chop comes out just as good as it looks on the website. A beautiful dark blackberry veal Demi glacé made it taste so good! The gumbo wasa dark roux with a nice seafood mixture. The Gulf Fish Acadien was a close second with a generous topping of lump crabmeat on a great piece of sautéed fresh fish. Dessert of homemade pies, bread and crème brí»lée was too good to pass up. We were delighted with our experience !
Appetizer mushroom ravioli was ok. Ravioli was Very doughy! Pork chop with blackberry glaze was amazing. Desserts need alot of help! Service was great
