Finally got a chance to try this place Saturday at 1030am and from the customer service to the food I enjoyed every minute of my visit. Will definitely stop here every chance I get real people really good food for the soul
If you haven't tried this place yet, you most certainly should! I showed up at 10am not knowing they opened at 1030. They STILL served me with a smile, a delicious plate of fresh food, and world class customer service! Cafe Coachella is definitely the place to be for lunch!!! They have won a customer for LIFE
The food was delicious. Slow at the drive thru but the food is worth the wait. Don’t clap back though.
I ordered chicken stew and crawfish étouffée, the chicken stew barely had gravy and the étouffée was like a jambalaya. The food was good but we had more rice than anything
The Absolute Best! PERIODTTT! The food is not only delicious but, nice serving sized portions. Seasoned to perfection!
Tried Cafe Coachella for the first time and was not disappointed at all. The workers are pleasant and fried pork chop with rice and gravy was hot and delicious. The owner even came to check on us and recommended we come to try the Sunday BBQ! Can’t wait to see what else they have to offer!
If I could just rate the food it would absolutely be 5 stars but my service experience was trash. Came in and asked if an item would be spicy for my 70 year old grandmother and the owner shrugged his shoulders with a solemn look. I felt super uncomfortable as if I made him mad for simply asking a question. He wasn’t very friendly at all but the staff was pleasant. I assumed maybe it was just a long day. I just so happen to have seen him at my job as well a few weeks later and he had the worst attitude towards a cashier. I will not support a business run by someone like this despite the food being good.
I saw this restaurant featured on the news this morning and knew I had to go try it out. We are new to both Lafayette and to Louisiana, so we’re trying all the local restaurants.Oh my word, the food here is sooo good. We got there about 11:30 and I’m glad we did because their amazing ribs were sold-out shortly after. My mom got ribs and I got a fried pork chop. Both came with rice and gravy as well as two sides. You are not going to leave here hungry.There was a long line, but it moved quickly and our order was served up quickly as well.I can’t wait to bring my husband here. He’s going to love it too.
Food is good and worth the wait up until they tell you "SOLD OUT CHICKEN DINNERS", weekly? and especially Sundays. After being parked in line around the block for over 20 mins just to be told we're SOLDOUT often is ridiculous ?. The food is good if you can get some so I rate 3 stars & because the other food options on the menu is pork and I do not eat pork....I suggest they add turkey wings to the menu?.
Im a very picky eater but i hav to give it to these guys. The food was spicy and seasoned to my very liking. My 1st time there and yes i will be back as a regular customer. You guys cant loose with them.Enjoy
