I hate to say “not recommended” because I have had some awesome food from this place. But tonight was the first time ordering out. We paid $66 for enchiladas, crab dip, and alligator bang bang. I found the portion size to be super small for what we paid. When we sit down in the restaurant, we always get more than what we can eat. Tonight I had 4 pieces of alligator barely sauced, what looked to be a tiny scoop of crab dip, VERY hard bread, and there was one enchilada cut in half to make 2. I guess I expected more. I guess I know for next time not to order out.

Cocktails, food and service were all awesome! In a time when restaurants are struggling to find good employees, there was a great team working here tonight! We enjoyed our night out! Highly recommend!

Great food and service. Must order the hurricane ?

Loved my honey / chili chicken but my husband thought his boudin was not so great and his shrimp po' boy only OK. Makes for a tough review with mixed results.

This was our first time dining here. It's a really nice place. The hostess escorted is to our table. Brooke, our server, took care of the table. She was very good at her job, and very knowledgeable about the menu items. She made us feel welcomed. Like, she'd known us for years. The food was real good. It's a great place to stop if you're looking for some Louisiana cuisine.

Had a nice family lunch here. It was my first time and I can say they didn't disappoint. We started with an appetizer the alligator bites. Shortly after our food was at the table. My wife order the prime rib with Brussel sprouts. This thing was massive and cooked to perfection(wife's perfection). My son ordered the pesto with shrimp. I ordered the meatloaf but the spicy version with potatoes.

AmazingJoanie was so nice and helpful explaining what the foods tasted like. As we’re from Minnesota just rolling through.Ribs had so much meat on them.Steak was perfectly cooked to the way I requested. Which is very hard to get. The sweet potato mash is perfect also. Not to sweet.

Just WOW! The ultimate Lafayette experience! We visited Bon Temps in the original location so knew the excellent quality of food. Our review used to be a 10 at the location. It is now a 20 out of ten. Jason, our server, was beyond amazing. He gave us three small samples of the gumbo, the crawfish etoufee, corn bisque chowder. My husband chose the etoufee for his meal and loved it. Jason recommended the Seafood Creole Cobb Salad for me with shrimp and crab—amazing. The new location (the old Blue Dog restaurant location) was decorated perfectly with that perfect Cajun flair with zydeco music playing. A must go to while in Lafayette!

My family and I ate here on our way through Lafayette and I'm so glad we did. I had the crawfish enchiladas and they were so bomb. The catfish mu daughter had looked so good. Nobody was disappointed at all. It was so nice and the service was awesome.

We were seated within five minutes! However the food arrived over an hour and a half later. My fathers crawfish this is so overseas and he could barely eat it. I am at Cajun we don’t really over season our food like this! My sister found a really long hair on her glass and I found a really long hair in my salad. My sister‘s fish was so tough she could barely cut it. In addition to this you couldn’t hear anything in the restaurant the only way to talk to each other was to yell at each other! As we were walking out of the restaurant a couple from Florida we’re coming back from being told that they would have to wait in ordinately long amount of time before they could be seated. I rolled the window down and said you can do better than this place, go to Dons!
