I've been a loyal patron of Parrans for years, but my last visit was extremely disappointing. The roast beef sandwich was cold and barely had any meat on it. I hope this isn't a sign of a long-term business model for them because that would be the end of my business there.

My first visit to any Parran's location. Parran's has been around for MANY years. I think that this location is kinda new. I got a roast beef po-boy and French fries. I really enjoyed it. My family members ordered different things... and it all looked great. Each person was happy with what they got. The staff was friendly and accommodating. I do plan on going back again. ??
Food was average. The service was not so friendly. The young lady taking orders was in a bad mood and didn’t like answering questions, so we almost said never mind abd left before finishing ordering. We sat at a dirty table that I had to wipe down myself.
The food here is always great! I always get the red beans with catfish or a pasta shrimp diane. They also offer barqs rootbeer in a classic bottle if you’re into the retro style. Mardi Gras is coming up and they sell Randazzos king cakes as well. My only complaint is that sometimes the food isn’t consistent. Sometimes ill have rice on the side, less rice and rice already in the beans which is how I prefer. I think they have rotating chefs.
I had the catfish with the Creole sauce on it, it was quite good. They are very short staffed though, everything is served in to go bags so they need some help to get back to normal. I hope they find the people they need.
Family lunch after surgery at East Jefferson. Wife had half a roast beef poboy and fries everything was good. Daughter had chicken parmigiana poboy and she said it was delicious. I had roast beef poboy and onion rings which we all shared. Poboy was delicious with adequate amount of delicious roast beef, bread was really good. Onion rings was just ok. Lacked seasoning on onion rings. Overall everyone enjoyed their meal. We would stop there again.
Everything was bagged to go even though we ate in. I believe they were short staffed and this saved on having a dish washer. The food was delicious and we will go back. They have a large spacious dining room!
They have the best Meatballs and Spaghetti ?! I am Sicilian so I grew up eating this and I have to say theirs is pretty damn good!
By far the worst sandwich I have ever had. I ordered a roast beef poboy dressed and add yellow mustard. I also asked for fries. I got a little roast beef not dressed and when I asked for my sandwich to be taken to the back and dressed, they come out with a bag of wilted brown lettuce and little tomatoes. I never got my fries and they show up after I finished my sandwich. For the prices they charge the service should be better. Looks like there taking full advantage of covid and using that as an excuse for poor service and food. The service and food is going down hill fast.
