The food and service were great
Landed in NOLA and had a few hours before needed to be anywhere. Looked up breakfast places "near me". Only about a 3 mile uber ride from the airport and well worth it. I had the Biggest omelet yet and my wife had Contry fried steak biscuits. Both items had very generous portions and tasted so GOOD. Like probably the same feeling Napoleon had while he was successfully conquering most of Europe. This lil dinner Is a must go if you're in the area.
Wonderful community restaurant. The diner is perfect name. The staff were very friendly and very helpful ? we sat at the bar and i enjoyed watching the cooks pouring love into their craft of cooking. The manager Jay was so pleasant and relatable. He took our order at the bar.The other man gave us great resources for seafood on the west side. My hubby and I will return.
We were seated quickly as the place was only about half full. Our table was sticky, we were handed rolled silverware that had very obviously been pulled off another table. The napkin had coffee stains and was ripped up at both ends. The floors were disgusting. The server was less than friendly to her patrons and acted like her tables were such a bother. I ordered a milkshake and was told they weren't making them today. We waited 50 minutes to receive our food, which was only a BLT with fries, and 2 fried eggs with grits and bacon. The ketchup that had been sitting on the table had soured, and a few of the fries were gritty and had a weird taste, almost like they had been dropped on the floor before being plated. Maybe we caught them on a bad day, but we won't be back to find out.
Food was on point! Staff was fast, friendly, and amazing! Will definitely be back. Place is busy, but they have a great rhythm down to get you served quickly.

We’re not from this area and was just in town for the carnival. And we just happen to pass by this place and was like let’s try this one. And it was the best decision ever. We both got the breakfast burger. Hands down best burger I’ve ever had. I deff give it 10 out of 5 stars. Super friendly service. Very homey feeling. Even bought a Mardi Gras tshirt from em.
The Dots Diner in kenner doesn’t serve the whole breakfast menu. I tried ordering for breakfast one morning before I was supposed to March in a parade the breakfast burger hint the word breakfast and they told me they don’t serve breakfast burgers for breakfast. Why call it a breakfast burger if you can’t order it for breakfast take it off the breakfast menu. Will never go back plus it took 30 minutes for anyone to even come to our table to ask for drinks (this was the second time this had happened). Also they overcharged my husband and daughter. My husband had a coupon for a free meal for his birthday and they charged my husband $20. That was an expensive breakfast for a 5yo child and her chocolate milk and my husband had a coffee I didn’t stay for breakfast since I couldn’t get what I wanted for breakfast being the week before I got the same breakfast burger at another location. WE WILL NOT BE BACK!!!!!

It was New Years Eve went for breakfast they were quite crowded. We sat down and ordered our food took forever. Of course again I didn't get what I ordered. Granddaughter ordered blueberry pancakes ? and bacon,son had a breakfast sandwich ? with sausage, eggs and cheese and hash browns with onion and a cup ofcoffee,andorangejuice. OK folks I know that it's hard to believe what I'm going to try to tell you but here goes. I ordered 3 eggs over easy 1sausage,2strips of bacon,with GRITS and toast. Now the meal comes with 3pieces of meat your choice. I also ordered cup of coffee and a class of tea, a side of hash browns. Well after we ordered several people came in ordered got their order and left. We were the last people to get our order and ready for this. I asked them where was my GRITS. Their answer was we ran out of GRITS. I said you had GRITS when I placed my order. Their response was sorry but we just ran out. I heard you tell other people after us that you were out. All they said was I'll take it off the bill. Never happened. Needless to say I was not happy again. My son seems to think that it an oral around me. Hahaha ?????
