Juicy and tender medium-rare burger, no bun. Very good sweet potato fries. Stacey was amazing. Recommended.

My wife and I ate here when we were just friends, now 30 plus years later with a son in medical school, we thought to return again and bring him. He ate the biggest burger they offer, but his parents went smaller burgers but everything was so superb. How can a restaurant maintain great food and service all these decades? I don't know, but we truly enjoyed it.
Brings back memories of going there as a kid. This one and the one in Metairie are very much like the locations I would go to in the 90s. I love that they are retro but very clean.
We visited in early April. We were looking for a place close to our Airbnb without going into the city. We really enjoyed it. The burgers and ribs were good. It was our kind of place, not a big chain restaurant, neat concept.

Went there for supper last night. It used to be so good. Went there a while back with my coworkers and it was pretty good. They only have 3 appetizers to chose from. My wife and father in-law got hamburgers. I had the hamburger steak. All 3 meals where made with the same frozen patties. the only difference was my hamburger steak had onions and gravy which had a bad taste to it. For $16, I expect more than a frozen hamburger steak. For $70 total, we could've went to Sonic and been better off. Really the only thing that was worth it was the peanuts and that's only because they don't charge for them.
Pretty good place to get a hamburger while in Houma service was good,got a little busy at lunch.
