Danny's Fried Chicken-can't go wrong,a great meal of fried chicken (mixed),rice dressing,fried okra,onion rings,fried gizzards,and dinner rolls, they are still open& operating since Hurricane Ida-although their lobby is still closed(drive thru only),the staff is very polite and extremely helpful,a pleasant group of people and i was appreciative ??
Last night I ordered a 16 piece box chicken with 2 side dishes and rolls. When I got back home I started serving the kids and noticed I only had 8 pieces in my box. I called them right away, well the girl on the other end stated she packed my order herself and she knows I had 16 pieces of chicken. Excuse me but no you didn’t. Then she wants me to bring the chicken back. I asked her even the 2 pieces that the kids were already eating. Which I didn’t bring it, I mean really the kids had started to eat. So I bring the rest of the chicken back and she is still saying that there was 16 pieces in that box. I don’t need to steal your chicken. I paid over $40 already why would I need to lie about how many pieces of chicken you gave me. Not very good business. I have never had that kind of service from them before. But if you want to continue to get my service, you need to show a little more respect to your customers. I had never seen that girl before last night . Don’t insinuate that your customer is just trying to steal your chicken. Very disappointed
Passing through from Houston; I stopped by and paid a visit to this place on Tuesday, May 10th around 6:45 PM. The employees were more than welcoming and friendly and helpful for suggestions. I picked out more than I could eat and was taken back to home cooking and happy for stopping here.The smiles and confidence of they’re food was a guaranty and pride. I will be happy to come back my next visit to Houma.
Ordered a 4 piece, the #3 combo, from Waitr. The weather was bad, didn’t want to get out. I paid over $27 for a $13 meal. When I opened my stapled bag up, I had 3 pieces of barely warm, cooked in old grease, hard fried chicken. I called in to report this. The manager, Rebecca asked who prepared the Waitr order. I heard the person in the background yell my name and say that mine was the only Waitr order they’d had tonight. I asked how they were going to make this right. Rebecca said I could come get a piece of chicken. Um, I placed a SIMPLE order that was a NUMBERED combo and had it delivered because I didn’t want to get out. I paid more for the convenience than the meal cost. Waitr did their job excellently. I ain’t getting out, Rebecca. She was only concerned with making excuses for the mistake. Nope, you guys blew it. A child under 2 yrs old can count to 4. Pssh. Now my name is on “the board” for when I want to go pick up my little piece of chicken. It will never happen. The service, quality of food and portions have steadily declined. Danny’s has been my absolute favorite since I was a kid. Tonight they lost my business, permanently. You had one job, Danny’s staff. ??
Great customer service. Chicken was hot and full of flavor. Rolls was fresh too.

I don't often eat here but when I do I order soft fried liver.. well this is the second time in several months that my liver was fried to smithereens..no one has time or money to waste like that!
