Me and my family have been going to Cajun Critters since the location off of Tunnel Blvd. Tonight, we decided to give the new location a try and it was absolutely terrible. Food was good, terrible service. Our server, was not attentive what so ever. We waited atleast 15 minutes for drinks, and she came back around to say she forgot. Then, ordered appetizers and waited atleast 25 minutes which is somewhat understandable when busy. However, she brought the food to the table and we are confused and ask her why we haven’t recieved appetizers and she seems to not know anything about it. After droping the seafood off, she comes back and brings fried pickles and that was nothing close to what we ordered. We ordered crab claws and onion rings, and she wrote the wrong thing. Accidents happen, but she did not offer absoutley anything or try to make anything right regarding her fault. We are 35 minutes atleast with half of the tables food and no appetizers. Finally, we recieved all of our food after waiting, and recieved the bill with the fried pickles, crab claws, and onion rings. She fixed it, but with no effort to make anything right after we brought it to her attention once again. After we were disappointed, she knew that we were not happy and decided to ghost us and send others to our table. As a former restaurant employee of six years, I was very disappointed and not satisfied with the service and the money I paid for the service recieved, and gratuity was added for a table of 5. Hopefully next time, we will get better service, but definitely was not satisfied in this experience at the new location. Will take a while for me to go back.
We put a order in for 4 people, then after waiting 35-40 minutes the waitress (who I don’t not blame for this) came to our table and said they ran out of EVERYTHING we ordered. Why have us waiting for that amount of time just to tell us that? And they STILL made us pay for our drinks! I was shocked after waiting for so long for them to tell us we weren’t getting any food they and wouldn’t even comp the drinks for letting us sit there for 35-40 min and then sending us out hungry.We were very bummed , have heard good things about their seafood and was looking forward to trying it.Went to 1921 seafood and oyster bar after the sent us out and we were NOT disappointed. Amazing seafood and great service. Had our food in no time. Highly recommend.
Food and service were both great. Friendly atmosphere and plenty of help to serve the large crowd. Lack of parking area for this large crowd is the only problem I see.

Best seafood in Houma, and best and friendly customer service. They just make you feel right at home with a great atmosphere and great music!!!! Everyone needs to go at least once❤️❤️❤️❤️
My sister and I were in Houma for my grandma's funeral and we wanted some seafood to eat. We were told about this place. I highly recommend going here. I had boil crabs and they were big and just full of meat and seasoned just right. My sister has the crabs and the oysters and she just loved the oysters. We both said that if we were ever back in Houma we were going to go to this restaurant again. We had excellent service. They had a lot of kids making noise and running around but that is on the parent and not the restaurant. I wish we lived closer so we can go back often but I live in central Florida and my sister lives in Virginia.
