Awesome food and friendly atmosphere
the seafood is always very good. The service is great and the waitresses are very nice and friendly.
Every thing but the fried green tomatoes with the tasty sauce was bland extremely bland. They need updated menus every thing is higher than what is on the menu didn't find that out until time to pay. Crayfish and mushrooms need more time and seasonings in the pot. The sausage was a ripoff $3 (menu price $2) for 4 tiny pieces that taste worst than dollar store sausage, couldn't eat it. tried one and was done. Just highly disappointed after so many locals were bragging about how it was perfectly seasoned. Also the duck strip also had no flavor
Overpriced as hell. They must think their food is better than it is to be charging that much. Shame the Shack isn’t opened back up. That’s a real seafood restaurant
MY FOOD WAS SO BAD! let’s start here .. MY BURGER WAS SO BURNT AT THE TOP WHAT YALL PUT CHARCOAL ON TOP THEN IT PUT THE BUN ON? let’s not talk about the pasta. WHY WAS THE “garlic bread” REGULAR HARD BREAD? do better honestly.
had a plate lunch of meat sauce spaghetti,buttered corn,green salad with raspberry vinaigrette dressing and a piece of garlic bread (already ate my bread?),the flavor is delicious and it's always more than enough for 1 meal,placed my order for pickup and it was ready when i got there, inexpensive and tasty, check them out if you're ever in the Houma area.
Big Alaska was phenomenal! The Charbroiled Oysters were truly delicious! My husband had the Dungeness Clusters, heck of a combination of flavors, he loved it! If I lived here, it would be our go to place. Thank you, Al!
For a lot of good reviews I decided to try. I regret it. Crawfish tasted like it came straight out the mud with brown water at the bottom of the bag. To top it off a nice big beetle/roach i don’t what it was, was in there
First time here. Enjoyed our lunch. Crawfish pies Tasted great. Friendly people, restaurant was very clean.
Food was excellent but the waitress wasn't very attentive. We sat in the bar area and our waitress spent most of her time behind the bar talking to a couple of customers she seemed to know. It took over 10 minutes of me trying to get her attention to get our check. BUT.........I HIGHLY recommend the food!! Large portions, very fresh, and prepared perfectly!
