We loved EVERYTHING we ordered and that they shared with us on our visit to the Bayou. Highly recommend the gumbo and the fried catfish Saw their place featured on an episode of Roadfood.com recently and they nailed it! The PBS special featured all kinds of New Orleans goodies, but for us, it was Seeing all the friendly faces and great food that Abears brings to the table! Melanie
I can't say enough great things about this place from the people to the food to the atmosphere! It was like being at grandma's house for lunch! Great first visit to the area and will definitely be back here for sure

Low key spot for real down home Cajun food. A must if you happen to be in Houma around lunch time.
