This place was hands down the best place I went to for both food and drinks in the week and a half or so I spent in Houma. I remember seeing them both about craft food and cocktails and being from New Orleans I admit I was skeptical. Nevertheless, I indulged and was absolutely blown away! The service was phenomenal. The bathrooms were clean and the craft cocktail that sticks out to me the most was called a French something or other and it seems like a variation on the French 75 and another cocktail that I absolutely adore and they make their own syrups with local honey and it was just an absolute treat. The brussel sprouts were some of the best I've ever had in my entire life hands down. Please go! Even if you're in the surrounding area it's worth a trip down to Houma! All nine of us in my group absolutely love this place and we'll be back every time we go to this city
The food was so amazing!!! Everything we ordered was great! I strongly recommend getting the duck empanadas! It’s a must every time we go! It’s a very laid back environment, and a great family place… very kid friendly with a kids menu and coloring sheets!
After coming to Houma for nearly 3 years every other week this is my restaurant of choice. They are fresh, they are quick, and they are very consistent in quality! I can always count on there being a different meal every week if I ever get tired of the same thing! Great job guys and the renovations look great from Ida!
Excellent food, very fresh ingredients. We had the Shrimp pasta and the bacon jam burger. I customized the pasta w extra shrimp and bacon and it was very, very good. We had the empanadas as an app and the bread pudding for dessert. Great service, owner came to the table to check on us, really enjoyed our visit. We will definitely come back.
Loved our dining experience last weekend here! Our waitress Julie was so kind and accommodating to our large table & the food was so so good! Best salad in town!
I do not think that there was one person who did not comment about the delicious food that was served at my daughter’s wedding reception. The food was outstanding! Thank you, David, and 531 Liberty. You outdid yourselves on this one!

Simply the best meal I have had in all of Louisiana. I'm in town working for FEMA, and I've I'm trying to hit all the restaurants in Houma. This place is amazing.Dinner salad, perfect size: perfect blue cheese salad dressing, perfect ingredients.Shrimp with fried green tomatoes: perfect combination. I could have eaten five of these for a meal.Margherita flatbread: I added green olives. It would have been amazing without them, but the green olives took it to the next level. Seasoned and cooked to perfection.Service was top-notch.
Always delicious, try the 531 Liberty burger, it's awesome.
