I’ve been to at least 4 Zeas locations. This is the first time I have had bad service. Was at table for about ten minutes before waitress came for our drink orders (even though we had drinks on the table the hostess got for us). Went about ten minutes after drink was empty without a refill two different times. Food was excellent as usual. But they overcharged me for rotisserie beef sirloin. The lunch menu says 15.50, but they charged me 21.50. I absolutely hate when places do that. This experience makes me reconsider going to any Zeas locations.
Went to this Zea's location for my early birthday celebration. Wasn't too crowded. Great atmosphere. There are table, booth and bar seating choices. Our waitress, Marissa, was excellent. Very knowledgable and friendly. The manager Kelly was also awesome. She greeted us at the table and wished me a happy birthday. Our order consisted of almond crusted shrimp as the appetizer( 6ct), rotisserie chicken salad with ranch dressing ( they put the dressing on the salad unless you request not to), sweet spicy glaze rotisserie chicken ( half a chicken), mashed sweet potatoes ( not very sweet), corn grits, half sweet and unsweetened tea, and bread pudding covered in pecans and praline sauce. The sweet and spicy rotisserie must be a hit because almost every order that came out was that. The crust was crispy with a sweet and not too spicy sauce. The meat was very very tender. I highly recommend this dish. The lights were dimmed but not too dark. And there is plenty of room for large parties. Great place to enjoy before or after catching a movie at the AMC theater directly behind this location. I highly reccomend this establishment.
Three friends had three good appetizers (shareables) today. I especially liked the ribs. Good drinks, good food, good service. Zea is a bit more pricey than nearby TGIF, but far better. The only negative was that seating was far from the door for a fellow diner pushing a walker.
Delicious food, terrific service and a pleasant atmosphere! Highly recommend this restaurant! It is a great place for myself and a friend or for a whole group of friends to enjoy dinner together!
Zeas is my most favorite place to eat. I have never had anything disappointing here. You have to get the Corn Grits. OMG!!! So good. Had the Thai ribs this time. Falls off the bone. So tender and delicious.
I’ll start with the food is great, however, the ordering process and the incompetent, rude people at the Manhattan location are just down right ridiculous! When you order food and food is “out of stock” (just a side at that) should you not call the customer and let them know.? Nope, they cancel the order! Then you call and talk to the rudest girl after just talking to a male, yet not one of them know what’s going on. Sad that this location has such bad service.
Great atmosphere. The ribs were very tender and full of flavor! The lemonade was just a little too sweet but not horrible. My salad was very good and the service was good as well.
I sat at the bar because I was solo. Anywho...I had the pita bread & hummus & it was delicious! ??
I had the duck with corn grits and bacon seasoned greens. The duck was warm not hot the the grits and greens were bland. Disappointing because I usually love the duck but this was my first time at that particular location. I will try again at my fav location in Metairie.
Good, fast service and great food. Not from the area (just passing through) and picked it from TripAdvisor reviews. We made a good choice. I wish we had one of these back where we live.
