We came here for dinner pretty late in the evening. The wait was roughly 20 min. The voodoo rolls were hot and flavorful, as always. My bro ordered the app gumbo. The roux tasted burnt and the shrimp had no flavor. My Redfish Pontchartrain and lemon drop were great though. Got it blackened, which was a tad bit too salty but the crawfish pasta was the right balance. I was full and satisfied after my meal, but I'd still choose the Metairie location because the portion sizes are bigger.
Get yourself some Vodoo Rolls, if you like crawfish, these will not disappoint. The Shrimp Lafayette sauce is great, but I recommend splurging and upgrading to the Crawfish Pontchartrain sauce because it is my favorite. If you get a platter bring a friend to split it, the portions are a generous size. Daily specials available. Plan to wait to be seated, this spot is always busy, but the food is totally worth the wait.
I had hair in my food I asked if it could be re made properly and to acknowledge the hair in the food by taking half off my meal an the manager refused an fussed back an forth with me with a lobby full of customers also stated since I found hair in my food I don’t have to eat it but the number one in customer service is satisfying the customers nothing was done about the hair in my food
We had to wait about 20 minutes for a table, but it was so worth it! The food choices made it hard to decide. We ended up getting the crabmeat stuffed catfish, swamp pasta, and hush puppies. So very good! As we watched plates going past our table, we knew we would have to come back and try more dishes. We highly recommend this place. ?
The cup of gumbo and shrimp poboy was phenomenal. I’m gonna go take a nap after this.
We had eaten here once before and it was really good! After checking the hours of operation on the internet, we drove out 20 miles for lunch the day after the Sugar Bowl. On our arrival there was a sign on the door that it was closed for the weekend. It would have been nice if the information was updated online.
Food was very delicious. You have to wait to be seated but food was very satisfying. The eggplant and stuffed shrimp were my favorites. The spinach artichoke dip was very good!! Service was fabulous!
Such good food!!! Really decently priced for authentic New Orleans fare. Lots of choices with a really good drink selection! Definitely a place to come back to!
The food was really good. The staff was very pleasant and helpful. They assisted with making recommendations. I sat at the bar and the bartenders and drinks were delicious.
