Upon arrival, I plainly ask for chicken fried rice. When one of the workers came out to my to give us our food. She read what was on the ticket, and it said shrimp fried rice. I went back in the restaurant so they could make right. We get home, and both of my egg rolls was so dark, and burnt, and choo choo was burnt as well. When I started eating it, it had some type meat that I can not even begin to identify. I immediately called them, the lady who answered the phone ask if I could bring it back, so they could remake it over. I’m like really, I’m going back, best to believe it want be for another bad taste in my mouth again, I want a refund.
I guess they no longer offer lunch special on Sunday.Edit: Lunch menu is available daily until 4, but apparently you have to say "lunch combo" while ordering. Pointing to it in the menu and selecting each option listed on the lunch menu isn't enough for them to understand that you are ordering lunch at 11:20 in the morning.
So I order sweet and sour shrimp lunch plate 16$ the plate comes with one scoop of rice 7 shrimp ( which smells and taste funny)with veggies, egg roll, and soup. I won’t eat the egg roll or soup they don’t substitute also that’s cool whatever but my opinion it’s not worth it i feel like i waste my money personally China doll across from august moon has same plate at 13$ and they give you way more rice and shrimp at least 10 pieces their sweet and sour sauce is also wayyy better taste homemade where theirs doesn’t store brought is better my first and last . I can only speak for myself and my experience i will not return ?
Super wide variety with excellent food. Went with the family after hours and had a great time. Have friends that go here regularly and enjoy the Vietnamese food.
Amazed! Most restaurants serve large portions with small bits of meat and vegetables. This place, is the exact opposite! See the photos. I killed it before taking photos ?.
The food was served quick and hot. Service was Great! This is a place you want to try!
In from out of town, and so glad we stumbled upon this place! We started with Chinese egg rolls, which were good. Then, for our entree, we had the fried chicken dish served over vegetables. Delicious! The chicken had a delightful crispy batter. We also had great wait service. We will return again if we are in the area!
No flavor, Smell funny like hint of Amon is. Lots of noodles but hardly any other ingredients. I had dish before & not same noodles. Previous dish had white egg Noodles. Call to complain, person hung up without offering to replace or fix. Wanted lunch menu instead of this
Just visited the August Moon on Manhattan in Harvey, LA. My wife and I had the egg drop soup to start the meal. Being a Navy vet, I have traveled the world. Now I am an over the road truck driver. In both jobs I have tasted dozens of soups from as many places. . The egg drop soup at August Moon was the best tasting version I have eaten in over 20 years since my last visit to a local restaurant in Hong Kong while I was in the Navy.My wife had sesame chicken with shrimp fried rice. Excellent tasting, lightly breaded, richly flavored chicken with broccoli. The chicken was well cooked and being lightly battered, the flavor of the chicken was amazing. My plate was the triple dragon having chicken, pork and shrimp with vegetables in a rich tasting brown sauce. I loved every bite.I Highly recommend visiting this place and sampling their quality presentation of cuisine meriting 5 stars.
Had the boneless chicken with shrimp fried rice. It was good. Very crispy chicken.
