My daughter and I eat at or to to from Yama quite often. Last night I tried the snow crab for the first time and I have to say, WOW. Talk about delicious. We usually order the hibachi bowls which are also always delicious.
Great place to grab a bite to eat. They have awesome food. If you're a seafood lover are just want a good bite of food.
The restaurant was not at all crowded, but we did go on Superbowl Sunday. We ordered the family platter of seafood, for just under $100. The cooked seafood was covered in lots of seasoning, which "probably" should have been put in the boiling pot when the seafood was being prepared.As we ate, our seafood waste bucket reached the brim. No one came to give us a new one. We also had to acquire napkins for ourselves from another station.Being from South Louisiana, I know good seafood. This left a lot to be desired. I would describe my experience and the food as average.
I do not like the service. I sat over 20 minutes waiting on my order that was sitting ready to come out. I can't tell anyone how to spend their money; but this will be my first and last day coming here. My children customer service skills are better than the woman at the register. ??????
The extra spicy boiled seafood is bomb but the lady at the counter is always sick and has a nasty attitude. We’re in the middle of a pandemic. Stay home if you’re sick! Also, we didnt make you come to work. It’s not our fault so take that out on your boss not the customers.
The habachi bowls are absolutely delicious!!!! Always hot and fresh cooked to order!!! The yum yum sauce is slamming, I don’t ever like yum yum sauce but theirs is GOOD!
