They’re a good as your instructions for your order. I get 5 star results when i specify how i want each item cooked specifically. Good people overall; i nah, it’s Waffle House, what did you expect? For years, people have said, “the dirtier the Waffle House, the better the food is going to be.” That quote alone should have you taper your expectations lol.
I would only recommend going in the morning to Waffle House on university! And sit with Mrs Stacy of course! Me and my husband go every week for breakfast and the experience is always pleasant( we go often enough Mrs.Stacy has remembered our order)but tonight we got off work super late and was treated like we were invisible by the waitress working. She was even sitting down ignoring us so much that the cook brought our drinks and our food! She was very rude when she did walk up to the table and it was very unappreciated.
It was alright, but the hashbrowns were undercooked. I like em crispy, but not dry. These were wet and mushy. But the patty melt was wicked.
Nice and clean and fast
I don't expect much of waffle house, because its waffle house. But we went a group of six, about 20 minutes before 2pm shift change...no welcome which is whatever. But we sat down at the one spot that was clean, and literally got ignored for an entire 15 minutes before we decided to leave. If someone on the staff would have said, hey its about to be shift change or we'll be with you I a few minutes, or hey just give us a minute we would have been ok and stayed. But all of us have worked in the hospitality industry and even at waffle house and we all agreed that's just bad business. Sorry not sorry waffle house...please do better.
