Super clean little place, fantastic food!!
Cashier at the window has a wonderful smile, always has kind words. My meal was hot ? I had a meeting so couldn't eat right away when I made it back all kept saying your food smells good ..sausage poboy with peppers and onions and baked beans. It was one hour later I kid you not those beans were still hot.. took a couple of bites and a few spoonfuls of the delicious beans and had to put it away it was a lot. And I wasn't eating the bread...
Food was decent. We ordered a two meat plate with chicken and sausage link, red beans and rice with Mac and cheese. Mac Cheese is literally sauce and noodles don’t expect anything more. The meat wasn’t seasoned super good but eatable. The red beans and rice was good.We also had a boudin egg roll and it was AMAZING. They messaged my PO Boy order up.
Going to Fl from TX And I decided to stop at the truck stop “petro but I saw the BBQ place and I change my mind. This place is amazing from the services to the food. Friendly atmosphere and decent price. Definitely I’ll be back. Thank you ☺️

Tried the slam pappy today…. The wife tried a pulled pork slider…. She was kicking herself when she tasted it, because she should’ve gotten more than one…. Way better than Salty Joe’s, she says! The slam pappy was great as well. I am sure you have two new customers now. Gonna have to explore the whole menu….
I'm visiting Hammond for job training and picked up lunch here. The food is great and the staff is very friendly. I'd recommend them to anyone making a cross country drive. They're just off exit 40 from I-12.
Barbecue is my favorite cuisine.This is the best barbecue in the GNO, hands down.It is truly made with love.Don't drive by this place. Wait in line if you have to.
First time trying alligator bites and I'mm hooked ... Ive eaten craw fish in seven other states and these were hands down the best i ever tasted the bbq brisket sandwiches are unbelievably tender a savory amazing food and staff so friendly you'll never want to eat anywhere else my hat goes off to the staff
