I had call 2 days ahead of the schedule event. And, had waited and hour and 15 minutes before the area assigned to Us, was ready. Which was okay gave everyone time to enjoy themselves etc.The waiter was overwhelmed by the size of the party group. Which made his performance horrible. After waiting for hour and 35 just for drinks and food orders to be placed. We had order Appetizers..Which was overcooked and burnt.Still trying to give the restaurant a chance..Time is going by once again...It definitely should be time for them to close. After (2) hours The Adult beverages were served. Now having to ask the waiter do they still offer rolls. He give a look as if I had offended him..The food is now being being servedMy daughter food had hair in it.My niece wings was burnt.I asked for my T-bone to be cooked medium well. It was definitely overcooked. My Cousin ordered never came out.And We was told it was placed with another order. Now she's having to wait for another hour. And, management was supposed to come to the table NEVER made it.While having to ask for sides that never came. There was 4 orders that should've been sent back. But, We had grown tired of the whole experience.. Which made this one Sweet 16teen Party a disaster. Since this was her favorite restaurant. We asked for The bill and Ended up grabbing a pizza to make sure her party guess was full.I don't think I would be returning to the restaurant with a large group or on a busy night. The Santa Fe crew was definitely tired and didn't care about their performance.
I am so glad we didn’t listen to the negative reviews and stopped by the Santa Fe Cattle Co in Hammond, La on our way back to Mississippi. Despite being very busy an hour before closing time, the service and food was A++. My husband ordered the Steak and Ribs Combo with a salad and fries and I ordered the Steak and Chicken Combo with a salad and loaded baked potato. We also ordered the Santa Fe Eggrolls for an appetizer. The appetizer was delicious and all food was cooked to perfection. The portions were very generous and we totally enjoyed everything. We would definitely recommend this restaurant, but come with an appetite! You’ll need it!

Didn’t make it past the front before being aggravated.! They were busy, I never have a problem waiting, but I do have a problem when I’m told our table will be ready in 30 minutes and the three families behind me get their tables first. I’m not sure what happened but to the young girl and guy up front, you honestly should pick a different profession. They were smacking and eating a Togo box of bread, not greeting anyone just asking for a name and number. I walked inside to politely ask what was going on and to see why the others were seated first and she just looks confused. She says “what’s your name again… and oh you still have 3 families ahead of you.” No I’m sorry or nothing. So myself, husband and kids walked out. We got the text of being added to the wait list at 7:06Pm and got the notification at 8:02 that our table was ready, at this point we were already seated at another restaurant.! Do better, because you just lost our business!
This place is great for cold drinks and hot food. The staff is very friendly and stays on top of not letting your glass get empty. Now if they are swamped. You might have to wait a little. All in all great place with good food with family and friends. Enjoy we sure did both times we were there.
Let me preface with we got there right around 3. And Our waitress was phenomenal! We absolutely loved her. She was on time, very attentive, super sweet.Everything else was terrible.Ordered the trio dip for an app. The salsa and gauc were tasteless and the guacamole didn't have the black beans and corn like pictured or previous visits. It did come promptly though. We had to wait nearly an hour after the app for our food. And there was hardly anybody there when we got there or when we left. The kids got a side Mac with their food and it was just white cheese slapped onto noodles which wasn't a bad thing. However, One was slathered and one was barely covered. I ordered the chicken and sausage combo with broccoli and a side salad. Husband ordered the Good time burger with fries and a side salad. When our salads came, they were drowning in dressing. Husband had no complaints with his little lettuce dorwning in ranch. But I had like half a cup of Italian dressing with like a cups worth of salad. My broccoli was cold. And the chicken was very thin so the edges were over cooked. The sausage was amazing though !My husband realized after I stated the sausage was nice and spicy that they didn't put jalapeños on his burger. We ate as soon as the food came and no time was wasted and still ended up being there a total of 2 hours ?.I'm not one to usually complain. The service was great. We were just highly disappointed with the food. It was not almost $90 worth of food.
We had a lovely time. Food was good. Atmosphere is nice. New things since the last visit.
Very disappointed, I wanted to like this place as an alternative for Texas Roadhouse. I ordered a 6oz Sirloin and mashed potato’s. The steak came out medium well and cold, the potatoes were also cold but the plate was hot. This plate must have sat out and placed in a warmer which only made the plate hot. I will definitely not be back.
We are from Georgia, my husband is here for work for a week. He has been here before but he surprised me with this restaurant being our first meal. I ordered burger and fries, he got the santa fe chicken. The burger was good but my husband loves the chicken so he let me try it. Hands down, the best, juiciest, most flavorful chicken I have ever tried in my entire life! We sat at the bar. The staff was very friendly and nice. Great place.
I was there got dinner which started off kind of slow. The waitresses act as if they did not see us standing there waiting to be seated until we start asking questionsWe were seated very quickly and the waitress came out and took orders and served us from there on everything else was smooth sailing and enjoyed by all.
