My family and I were on our way to a baby shower and decided to stop somewhere familiar since we traveled away from home. What we like best about Canes is that (so far) no matter which one we stop at the service is the same. Consistent great & efficient service and food. My only complaint about this particular location is the parking lot is tight but it did have available parking behind the restaurant.
I like the chicken fingers and I LOVE THE TOAST? ( That's the reason I go) my only reason for 4 ⭐ instead of 5 is a 3pc tender W/ fry's , canes sauce and a drink is $7.99+tax and I tell them to trade ( as in keep ) the fry's and cane's sauce ( KEEPING FOOD COST DOWN ) and just give me toast in place and the total goes to $14.12 I'm no mathematics genius BUT I HAVE MANAGED 3 DIFFERENT CHAIN RESTRAUNTS AND I DO KNOW THAT WHEN YOU SAVE ON FOOD COST the customer should pay the same$7.99 or LESS NOT DOUBLE both in HAMMOND LOUISIANA ON HWY 190 & WALKER LOUISIANA ON Walker south near the interstate. Went through drive through. Quick and friendly service. Food was hot and delicious and order was correct

Is this what the 25 finger tailgate looks like now? It doesn’t even cover the bottom of the pan. Chicken tenders are very tiny and not worth the money I paid at all! I used to like Canes. Now my kids tell me to bypass it for Popeye’s or Chik-fil-A. Why are they being stingy with the chicken? That’s sad.
What else is there to say everyone loves canes! Although I do wish they had better t shirt designs to buy and maybe more people would buy them. Come on canes its like advertisement that other people pay for. Make it one they want to buy and wear!!!
Husband and I live in Georgia, we are here in hammond for his work and after a mini vacation, we LOVE zaxbys so we wanted to try raising canes, it wasn't good. The chicken was bland and dry. The sauce is also very bland, and the fries were cold and old. We will never eat here again. Way overpriced. I am very disappointed, we spent 50 dollars and it was a complete waste. Raising canes didn't make valentine's day good. ?
Tonight I visited this location for a to go order. After ordering, the cashier gave me my receipt, but no change (she owed me .23). When I asked about my change, she said that she asked me if I wanted my change and said that I said 'no'. I told her I never heard the question and I know I didn't say no. Why would that even be a question from one of your cashiers? What is she doing with the money that she is taking from customers? And if you are condoning this action means that y'all are straight up stealing money from your customers. It's not about the amount of money, it's the principle that it is MY money. At this point, it makes me want to stay far away from your establishment.
Everything is top notch but the drive thru needs serious, very serious, change. People entering 3 different directions, people eho are picking up pre orders cant get out, people who picked up food from inside can't get out, even when you get food from the drive thru you can't get out because the drive thru line gets blocked.
I was traveling from Houston to Illinois and needed to get fuel in Hammond. Since I was stopped I wanted to eat and continue on with my drive. Waited patiently outside for opening time. Couple minutes after opening time I went in and waited by the counter while I watched the drive through get some killer service. After several minutes someone finally said "two at the door! We will be right with you." Granted everyone in the back had seen ne there atleast once already. I said okay and waited a little longer. Finally two people came up front and had a conversation while one of then grabbed something from the refrigerator behind the front counter but never paid me any attention. At the point I left and will likely never be back.
