Great food and service. Must visit if in Hammond.
A really good experience. Outdoor meal with a live band. The food was fresh and hot, the servers were nice and helpful. Especially Amanda! Eating at the restaurant is 100x better than getting it to go. I had the crawfish meat pies, and a softshell crab po-boy. 10/10. I also got to try the Thai Tuna, and the flavor from the sauce makes it worth every dollar.
Mariner’s is pretty consistently okay. The servers are awesome. Our appetizers were great. Our drinks were great. Our entrees were horrible. The sauce was broken or never formed on the alfredo. My chicken was over cooked and tasted like fryer. I love Mariner’s, but I’m likely going to stick to drinks, snacks; or burgers.
Rustic. Old Hammond. Can sit outside. The Jim and Dave’s kickin chicken was great. It used to be on a delectable onion bun but French bread is ok. Great staff. Place hasn’t changed much in 20 years. Very chill.
Great food and beverages, very nice, welcoming attention and environment, and AMAZING live Music on the weekends.
Gumbo roux was burnt.Mushroom-Bacon burger came with no mushrooms, or bacon, and was overdone, while my boyfriend's cheeseburger was undercooked.Soft shell crab, onion rings, pork, and fries were all great. Likely will not eat here again.
The waitress was great,my steak was supposed to be well well done,it wasn't, my broccoli rice had 1 piece of broccoli in it an my rice was super dry Very disappointed,maybe it depends on whose cooking that shift.
You have to try to crab and corn soup really good, very nice people and great prices, they also had a special going on steaks last night
Have enjoyed the food there for decades but haven't been in several yrs. Very disappointed. Onion soup tasted like made w onion soup mix w thick slice of French bread on top, hamburger smaller than I remember, dried out bun, onion rings from a bag not freshly made. My friend had chicken sandwich, also dry. I asked if same owner because overall quality seemed lower than I remember and expected. Far better food available now in Hammond at numerous restaurants.
Great burgers! Love the atmosphere, outside tables..... the food is top notch!I've been coming here for 20 years. Always enjoy my meal ?
