Man oh man, I've been wanting to try Jersey Mike's for a very long time. This place did not disappoint! The bread was awesome, and the veggies were fresh. I got the #11 and will most definitely return. This, my friends, is a sub that will make you very happy. I can't finish the sandwich because it's just that big. That makes me sad....but then I remember I have more sandwich for later and I get happy! I'm originally from New England, and though Jersey isn't part of New England, they've nailed the regional sandwich! It's a taste of home
3/14/22 I was interested in am off menu reuben sandwich that I saw they had. Well, evidently this location does not do off menu selections. Sort of sad as I love a good reuben. I ordered the philly cheese stake sandwich. It was very good, though I did find it pricey. but it was one of the best po-boys I had ever had. I ordered and took out. The place was neat and clean. The service was prompt and courteous.
Always come here when I’m craving a cheesesteak. Always fresh and the employees are nice.
First visit the order was not as described...two of the italian meats were ommited from both sandwiches...total was $33. I called and was told my next 2 were complimentary. Second visit, the complimentary ones...cost me an additional $21. I was told that only one was complimentary and I had to pay for the other. Not what I was told. Last time because this will not happen again. Firehouse subs will continue to get my business.
There is not a Jersey Mike's anywhere near where I live in the boonies of WV, but I travel to Louisiana once a year. My first experience with Jersey Mike's was last fall, and I made the mistake of getting the Italian on gluten-free bread. I am not Celiac, but was trying to limit my gluten. If you don't have to eat it, I would suggest not getting their gluten-free. I ended up eating the meat, cheese and veggies sans the bread. I do not blame this on JM, however. They do not make the GF bread, and I do applaud them for offering that option for those who need it. So, this year, I decided I was going to jump in with both feet. I just got my free birthday points, and I chose the #4 on white. All I can say is that I am IN LOVE! The bread was soft, fresh, and heavenly! The meats and cheese were fresh, and the lettuce, tomato, and onions were crisp. I got mine without the juice because I had a lot to do and wasn't sure when I would be able to eat, so I opted to just use my own red wine vinegar before munching. And, I will add, for a 7.5 inch sub, it was a MONSTER. I could only eat half, the other half is waiting for me in the fridge. I can tell that I will be visiting JM a LOT over the next couple of weeks while I am here!!
Awesome the closest to a Philly Cheesesteak and Hoagie in Louisiana....I wish they had one in Harvey Louisiana
