We eat here regularly. It’s our “go to” place. They really care about each plate that comes out. I haven’t had a meal I wouldn’t give five stars to yet. Must try.
We now compare every restaurant (and steak) to Cena. They have set the bar. The best dining experience in Hammond. Brunch is equally as impressive.
Lots of specials to choose from. Food is freshly cooked so it takes a little while to come out. Not a restaurant for vegans or vegetarians unless you like salad. Pricey but again, food is freshly made. The rest of the table said the food was very good, especially the risotto.

We went last night for my birthday and let me tell you we had an all around great experience. I will definitely be coming more often now and would highly recommend. 5 stars easy…
First time here. Went on a Saturday around 2 and it was not busy. Ordered the meat and cheese plate, and then I got the gulf crab napoleon, which was honestly one of the best things I’ve ever eaten. Hubby got spaghetti carbonara, which he loved. Will be back. Great friendly service!
We frequent Cena often…great vibe, great food and great service….Never disappointed.What more could you ask for?

Visited this place for Valentine dinner , and I must say very impressed. Our server Bailey was on top of our table with refills , clearing plates and spacing at our meal and not rushing us. The owner or manager visited our table minutes into our visit and made us feel welcomed like we had been there 20 times , but this was our first.Our food was great , crawfish risotto was hot and fresh loaded with chesse and crawfish . The meatballs were hot and enough to share. My wife had the shrimp and grits and loved it , the sauce was delicious. I had the short rib special , a huge bone filled with tender juicy meat over a bed of polenta. We finished our meal with a Strawberry white chocolate cheesecake and left very full and happy.We will return soon enough only 45 minute quick ride .
I had been wanting to try Cena for a while and I'm so sorry that I waited so long! this place is amazing. Great atmosphere, delicious food and some of the best service in Hammond. We loved our brunch today and highly recommend the veal, the chicken and pancakes and the tiramisu. ?
