Delicious Brisket Burger with Fresh hot BBQ seasoned Pork Rinds! Um um
Just went to go get bbq station after not having it for some months, I’ve been ordering food from here for about 3 years, and I always order the loaded brisket fries. I decided to try something new and got the shrimp poboy too. The poboy ended up being on a hamburger bun and was the absolute worst poboy I’ve ever eaten. The shrimp was just nasty. Then the loaded brisket fries were just dry and didnt taste the same as they did before at all.

Didn't want fast food, saw the sign on the highway & decided to give it a shot. Pleasant surprise. I ordered the 2-meat combo (which comes with 2 sides). I chose brisket & ribs, baked beans & corn on the cob. I didn't know the sauce was on the side, though I'd be disappointed. But when I pour it on??. My hubby got the brisket sandwich with fries. Delicious! Will eat there again, nice little go to spot in Hammond.
Passing the original location and seeing it was closed... we decided to give the newer location a try. Worried that it might not be as good, we were pleasantly surprised that it's just what we remember. Great food and friendly service. We got the brisket burgers and were pleased to see that local Louisiana craft beer selections were available. Just as good as the original!

Why is BBQ better from the smaller restaurants? BBQ station has 3 or 4 stations around SE La and I'd love to visit them all! The Hammond station has the greatest brisket baked potato. My wife's brisket plate was so juicy tender. My mother-in-law kept telling us how good her brisket plate was! Great clean BBQ vibe. The focus is on the food right where it should be. There was a limited post-Ida menu but that just means the next time we go it'll be even better! The music system wasn't working well and the forks we're plastic but that's temporary stuff. This is one station I'll be manning again.
Best ribs i have ever had tender barbecue. Potato salad great an beans delicious. Genous portions too. You want be disappointed.
Great food! Ordered the meal that was for 2. There was enough food that we took 2 medium containers home with us! You get a little of everything!
