Pie man will never let you down! Best soulfood in the area!
I ordered two crawfish pies and were given crab pies (most likely because they ran out, which is fine), they tasted really good but I have food poisoning now and mr pie pan was the only thing i ate that day along with some fresh fruit. I’m not placing the blame on them but it’s easy to get sick from seafood….maybe something was expired….hopefully it doesn’t/didn’t happen to anyone else. terrible situation.
I had sweet potatoes pie, muffin, and iced pound cake. Flavorful, smooth, moist, great texture, and reasonable is all I have to say. Friendly place that seems to have frequent returning customers. Next time I’m in the area, I will try the food after seeing the reviews.
The food is delicious. However, the new help the older man and the young lady need personal skills. I love the old lady she is awesome. Please keep her.
Had not been here in a while and it's great to say somethings don't change! The food was excellent just as expected and I appreciate the consistency!

The chicken wings was so good my daughter devoured them but my fried catfish potato salad and Mac & cheese…. Was not it the potato salad was so nasty no flavor what so ever and the Mac and cheese taste like it was noodles butter n cheese that’s all but the sweet potato was ok if I go back the chicken is the way to go no complaint there!!!
Hidden Gem. I have eaten food from The Real Pie Man for years and after returning to the area I was not aware that he was still around. I thank my lucky stars that he is still providing the best Soul Food around. 5 stars do not do justice to the quality of food and excellence of service you get at The Real Pie Man! Do your taste buds a favor and get yourself over to The Real Pie Man.
