I had one of the burgers with onion rings and bbq sauce on it. My wife had the fried catfish sandwich and onion soup. It was all well made and exceeded expectations. We had the bananas foster cheesecake that was exceptional.
The food was awesome the staff was very kind and the food was out really quick all around great experience I definitely recommend eating here for everyone.
I tried this place primarily because it was close to my hotel. Pretty laid back atmosphere. I asked for recommendations from the waitress and she suggested burgers or rips and chicken plate. I went with the latter.Ribs are a pretty standard oven cooked affair. The chicken was a thin fillet and had wonderfully executed grill marks. Pretty good overall. BBQ beans were forgettable yet edible along with mashed potatoes with gravy. Gravy was trash but their mashed potatoes were really tasty by themselves. Made up for the beans.Overall a pretty decent choice. I'll likely come back and try the burger on my next trip.
I wanted to try something new instead of the usual 3 close to home El Paso, Cody b , zydecos and I had seen this one a while back and wanted to try it. Had high expectations and really wanted to like it after looking at reviews but it wasn't worth it at all. Waited 40 min for our food cuz the cook thought he had made our food already but hadn't . Watched 3 waitresses argue over a table whit new costumers while one walked away saying the other 2 waitresses were racist eventually we got our food and my husband and I requested medium burger's but they were over cooked and tasted burnt so yeah. Never again Oh and they were packed however our waitress seemed nice.

FOOD SERVED HOT AND PRESENTED WELL ON PLATE IN A TIMELY MANNER. ALWAYS AN AAA+++ EXPERIENCE , EVERYTIME DINED THERE. COVID 19 RULES FOLLOWED & FELT VERY COMFORTABLE EATING IN. BE SURE TO STOP IN THIS LONG TIME ESTABLISHMENT IN GRETNA FOR DECADES.
This place is slow serving and completely un organized. They will leave you at your table thirsting for water. The drink menu is non existent, if you want a mix drink , you need to tell them what you want and they will let you know if they have it. They will charge you for drinks that you never had.
Classic casual experience. Onion rings, burgers, Cole slaw, we're all really good. Brisket was pretty good. My son was not a fan of the shrimp sandwich. Alcohol selection left a little to be desired.
Our entire meal was delicious! We had the turkey burger and the ground pati burger; they were so good! Outstanding service.
Friendly Staff and the food was good. Not too far from the hotel where I was stayingBig portion!!
