We absolutely loved coming here for the first time and will be returning! Our boys loved it and we can’t wait to make this a regular go to spot on Thursday nights. Their balloon artist Mr. Joe Harrison was great with the kids and so great to chat with before our food came out! We ended up not waiting long at all even though their wait times were 30-40 minutes.

This review is for the new location on Gretna blv. I ordered something new to me the El Goridio. It was 2 large maze disks stuffed with steak and chicken. They were good. So we’re the rice and beans. My wife got the chicken chimichanga with rice and beans. She said her chimichanga was burnt on the outside. She only ate the inside. As an appetizer we got Popey dip. Which is cheese and spinach leaves. Worth the price. They totally redid the interior and looked really nice. We will be going back.
The food was great. The service was phenomenal! Our server had to deal with 28 people at the table. The kitchen did a great job with hitting the weeds and coming through.Next time we are in NOLA, we will be dining here again. Prices were reasonable.
Fun and busy place with lots of delicious options to try. Taco Tuesday is a great time to try it out! Highly recommend this of you want some great Mexican food!
Probably the best Mexican food I have had! Everything was very delicious and authentic. Loved the grilled jalapeño. Salsa was good. Guacamole was good. Tacos were amazing.
How about this place....yes El Patron Mexican Grill is an amazing place to take the family. Very clean, the atmosphere in the building is homey yet professional. The staff is down to earth and respectful. They are truly a happy bunch of workers. Energetic positive vibe as soon as you walk into the place. The food....OMG the food is so delicious. They give you more then what you pay for. Great spot to eat drink and enjoy.
The best food on the West Bank. Their service is great also considering they are ALWAYS busy. If you’re in a rush this isn’t the place for you. But if you want to eat drink and have time on your hands this is a GREAT spot. No matter how busy their food is consistent. And the staff is always in a good mood. Also after supporting their community after IDA theirs no reason not to support them 10/10
