We came to eat lunch. We asked for a table to do health issue of my husband. She immediately took us to a booth. I explained to her my husband could not slide in a booth that is why we asked for a table She proceeded to tell us there were no tables. Did not try to help us. Very unfriendly. Not helpful at all. PS. Over half the restaurant was empty. It was lunch time.
Abby was our server and she did a great job! It was a busy Friday evening but she made sure to quickly get our order and checked in with the table regularly. I’ve worked as a server in the past and Walk On’s is a busy restaurant. She handled the dinner rush with ease and a smile. I gave 4 stars not because of the service, but because of the layout. The 4-top tables by the bar are cramped, making it difficult to get through and leaving bar patrons to bump into people in their chairs. Other then the layout, the food and service was great.
Bar tenders was slow to clean off counter and keep walking pass like they didn't notice the plates and glasses from the previous customers,so other customers noticed and moved over so we can sit where it was clean...didn't greet us til ten minutes later after sitting down. Ordered appetizers and food with a water for me and a alcohol drink for my date.They said they needed my card in the system before anything came out....I have never experienced that at any dine in restaurant before. I didn't bother to order a alcohol beverage when my food come out after that happened. I Will not return and understand when your not welcome
We got a great meal and excellent service! Staff are always friendly and fast. Clean. Server had some helpful suggestions for meal options. I recommend one of their signature burgers. Some games and ATM on site. Tons of televisions with numerous stations.
In town visiting. Quick seating. Fast service. Hard workers. Our server was Chaslynn and she was attentive and prompt with a friendly smile. Delicious food. We ordered the Sunday sliders, kids catfish plate, and hangover burger with sweet potato fries. Would go again!
Food wise it’s awesome and has been every time I dine in or get to go or delivery through s third party. But I’m not sure the hiring process for the to-go hostesses. Yesterday I had a bad experience with the lady working the counter. That’s not the first time I’ve had a bad experience with the to go person either. I understand you get busy and overwhelmed, but a young girl who can’t take a fast pace environment and deal with customers shouldn’t be working the counter if they’re going to be passive aggressive towards multiple customers.
Went to walk-on’s before they closed on June 4th that night with some friends. Waitress was super nice. Order a Pasta I'm not sure what was wrong with the food itself but It gave one of my friend and me the stomach bug. i am not sure if the cheese was expired or what but I never experienced anything like this we had to make our out of town visit short.
My wife and I had a great night at the bar at Walk-On's. Our Waitress Rori, made the best Old Fashioned. Actually asked how I wanted it muddled. I can really say they have a good one there and we will be back.
I usually consider WalkOns a really great place. The food is always consistent and the atmosphere is nice but the service is below average. My husband and I went on a day that wasn’t even remotely busy and our service was very poor. The server took forever to ask our order, refill our drinks, forgot about sauce, and we had to ask for the bill after 20 minutes of her not coming back. Also, don’t call to ask for the wait. They “can’t tell you over the phone” and also you can’t reserve a table. This restaurant is for extremely patient people with nowhere to be.
