Not somewhere we frequent often, but thought we would give it a try. The attitude from the cashier who I believe was the manager started as soon as a change was made to one of the burgers. My husband was looking at our receipt and noticed it seemed more than what it should be. When I brought it to the same person's attention, the attitude came back. The employees name on our receipts name was Jazz and she has ZERO customer service skills. She acted like a combo was supposed to cost $7 extra per meal, when the sign clearly states $5.29. She finely said fine ma'am and turned back to grill, basically ignoring us. It's not about the few extra dollars, but about the principal of the attitude and her disregarding the fact we were over charged.
We were waited on and served by Keenyata and Jazz at the Gonzales, LA restaurant. They were personable and professional. We have never eaten at Mooyah, we don't have them in Oklahoma. We have family in the area and we will make it a point to return to this restaurant when we visit. The fries are fabulous. Give them a shot. Definitely worth it.
The employees were very nice and seemed to like working together. (They get FIVE stars!) The food was good, (but IMO the black bean patty is overpriced). The facility was clean, but all except ONE napkin holder was empty, as were the wall hand sanitizers.
Sorry, I didnt take a starter photo for presentation (just a hungry fat boy ready to chow down). I had the Indulgent BBQ. This thing was sooo good. The potato bun was a light, toasted compliment to the hand patted 100% beef patty. I changed the pepper jack cheese out for cheddar and added pickles (these seemed to be home style thick cut not paper thin like fast food).My meal came fast, fresh, and made to order with a very generous serving of fries (personal size) more than I could or should have alone.This was my 1st visit on a work trip to the area. I definitely recommend you give it a try if you are in the mood for a burger and are tired of the FAST FOOD GIANTS.Check out Mooyah!
Burger was good…yet I ordered sweet potatoes and was given potatoes. The lead crew member said to get sweet potatoes and send them out to me. None were delivered. Employees need to read the ticket before delivering to the table. My wife and I came over 3 months ago they were jammed packed and food was sitting on the serving counter for over 20 minutes and was cold when we were served. Giving this site a second chance didn’t seem to assist this crew to help them learn to read the ticket before serving the food to the customer! Pick it up management and trainers!
Arthur took my order. I realized once I had the receipt that he had charged us for two big moo shakes when I explicitly said mini moo shakes. His body language expressed irritation for having to change it, but he eventually edited the order. Then I noticed that one shake changed from Oreo to cookie dough and when I brought this to his attention he quickly quipped its Oreo. I just wanted to make sure we would get what he ordered and he repeated it’s Oreo. I watched him put cookie dough into the cup, but then he must have remembered and he dumped out the cookie dough (back to the container) and replaced it with Oreo. When we got our burgers, mine had tomato even though I requested no tomato. The burgers and shakes were tasty, but the experience was quite sub par.Also, the ladies bathroom had tiles falling off of the wall, some were just hanging on, others were on the floor where they fell. There was toilet paper in several area on the floor, and one exterior wall had visible mold growing on the wall.This store needs attention in several areas.Order ID AABBPKTSAEB45/21/222:33 pm
BEWARE! This Gonzales Mooyah's by Cabella's is the worst I've had. I got food poisoning from it. The stomach problems I had are not worth the money you pay to eat there. I would not be surprised if they improperly handled the meat the way my stomach was causing me issues! Very greasy, nasty and poor customer service. All of the napkin holders were also empty.

The Cheddar Bacon Burger was very good with a smokey flavor. The employees were nice. Ordering was fast and accurate. The to go order had fries that filled the bottom of the bag! Very good.
? MOOYAH!!! will the Double Diablo burger was delicious not to spicey just right the fries scrumptious with just the right amount of seasoning it hit the spot service was good prices are average you can either dine in or out or just place an order to go the atmosphere is mooyah aka cool ? and clean best of all food is made fresh keep up the great work guys ????????
