Being from the west El Paso is the most authentic Mexican food here to me. Their chips and salsa. Love. Bean dip. Wow. Never been disappointed. Margaritas are strong and so good.

Good Authentic Mex Food FAST I ordered the 4 enchiladas plate, topped with queso sauce and shredded lettuce and tomatoes, a side order of house hot sauce, guacamole, and queso. The salsa and chips were average, served with all orders. The enchiladas were good and I particularly liked the house hot sauce which you have to ask for. I used it on the main course and mixed into the salsa dip. The enchiladas could have stayed warmer if the plates were heated before the food was placed on it. The guacamole was below average. The flan was exceptional.
The service was very friendly. The premises were clean and welcoming. We loved the salsa and we both had amazing entrees. I had the fajita quesadilla and it was incredible. Prices are very reasonable. We ate for $20 and the portions were very large. My husband had the the shredded pork fajitas. We will go back again and again. Best Mexican in the Gonzales area.
Anyone else told Rouse’s no longer accepts printed internet coupons? Cashier just informed me. Then I asked if they did accept any & if so what type? She said they did, but not sure which kind, just not “that kind.â€
