The atmosphere seemed rushed like eating at a train station. The appetizers were served after receiving all entries. The udon noodles was served late into the meal. The sushi rolls were small in comparison (flavorless) but yet a similar price as other establishments. The tempura vegetables were "mushy" and without flavor, comparable to the food from the frozen food section. Higher prices with mediocre performance.
Great as always. We go at least twice a month. Never been disappointed.
My friends and I When here on last night,When the chef came to The Hibachi he started preparing the people food that came after us. It was my birthday celebration as well as some of the other people in the establishment. If you inform them that it's your birthday they give birthday crowns. I had to tell him twice before he gave me one. When he did it was the only one that wasn't working. I feel he purposely ignored us. I give them 3 Stars because the food was good I have been here before but I will never go again.
Twice now I have ordered delivery through Waitr. Both times items were missing from our order and for the price I’d expect more the kids menu chicken is way overpriced it’s 15. For a chicken breast? And you have to pay extra for fried rice or noodles. What I’m most disappointed with is if I’m ordering delivery and an item or two is missing the restaurant seems to hold the service at fault and the delivery service holds the restaurant at fault! I’m paying for a service that has failed! And why would I want to come pick up the item they have forgotten? No… you should absolutely have someone deliver the item to me and you should absolutely refund me for the inconvenience of not having the item! I paid over $120. For a meal a side and a kids meal the food was good but I will never order from them again!!! Really once I can forgive but twice no thank you!!!
Food is decent, but service leaves a lot to be desired. This is the third time in a row multiple items have been missing from a pickup order, doubt I will be back.
Great place!! Get the vegetable soup, they make it when you order it and comes out piping hot!! Great on a cold day or if you need some comfort food!!
Had a Hibachi dinner there for my birthday last night. The service and food was great and even the our kids who can be picky enjoyed their food and enjoyed being entertained by the Hibachi chef. Sometimes they get a little busy so you may have to wait sometimes but that's also a sign that the food is good when they have a solid customer base.
Hibachi chef excellent with kids. Asian pear Sake was satisfying and food of course was delicious.
It was an amazing experience watching the hibachi chef cook in front of us , we had a fun and amazing chef and the food was delicious .
Today was my LAST attempt to eat at hello Tokyo in gonzales ! It was horrible … 5 out of the 5 people sitting at the Hibachi table had to get and leave our food ! It was too much garlic .. too much soy … and burnt …. 3 different families all left the food sitting and left ! Never again hello Tokyo !!!! Never !!!!!!
