First of all, me and my boyfriend were there a total of 2 hours. About 10 minutes after we had ordered, a large table of 13 walked in. They were served all of their food before us. And yes they ordered a bunch of boiled seafood and such. A little after an hour we were finally served our entrees. We also had ordered a dozen chargrilled oysters which were served about 30 minutes after we ordered. The oysters were extremely chewy and had no flavor. They tasted like they were cooked without butter or anything and then just had some stuff dumped on it later on. Our crab legs were alright. I think the mussels were the best thing we ordered. We then sat there for another good 25 minutes searching for our sever to ask for our ticket. I had asked another server if they could give us some boxes and she smiled at me and walked away without acknowledging us or getting any boxes. Overall the servers seemed like they didn’t want to be there and were kind of rude. I definitely won’t be coming back.
Update, went there today, food excellent, service, too. This place has really come around! Try it!Took my wife there for lunch on her birthday. Angelle was a good waitress. Lots of food for the money. The food was good, but not great. A little bit on the bland side. Place was clean and the staff was friendly.
The food was flavorful as usual. This was my first time at this location. There was a wait to be seated but we did have a group of 7 so didn't mind. I was told several times that they were under staffed and it showed. All the staff I did interact with were very pleasant. The bathroom definitely needed more attention. I'm assuming that's because of the staffing issue as well. We were also told there wasn't anymore. I server was fresh
Shrimp poboy was amazing. Shrimp perfectly seasoned and fried just the way we like it in Louisiana. Good bit of shrimp, might I add. They're a tad on the pricey side, but I don't mind paying a little extra for good quality. I will definitely be back. I would definitely recommend to others.
Seafood will always be pricey due to seasons, but this place definitely has quality on point. Great flavor. Snow crabs and shrimp were on point. I want to mention Kashantay for her great customer service over the phone and being extremely respectful. Definitely someone who makes eating out a good experience.
The food was very good. I enjoyed the charbroiled oysters but the wait from order to table was excessive. The wait was long from arrival to table. They did not have a wait line at all.Getting a waitress to stop at the table and her service was absolutely ridiculous. My husband and I ran a seafood resturant double the size. Once a seat became available our service time was under 10 min from order to table.
I was a little skeptical at first when I saw the menu. I was expecting small portions, but wow! My plate was full. I had well more than I can eat in one or maybe even 2 settings. The food was seasoned perfectly. I was a little disappointed in the flavor of the fried rice. I found it tasted like Rice-A-Roni. But the shrimp that was added to it was awesome. I will definitely go there again, just maybe not get the fried rice next time.
My bf & I sat at the bar while we waiting for the rest of our party and at 1st glance it seemed really bare, but then we found out that the bar had just opened that day so it made sense to us. The bartender was nice and promptly accommodated us when we asked for a cocktail menu (2/3's of the cocktails weren't available yet) & a bucket of ice to put our beers in (they came out of the fridge very warm), but she definitely wasn't outing or making any efforts to engage in any small talk (there were 6 or 7 people seated around the bar). What she lacked in personality she made up for in pours, as I actually felt a slight buzz after 2 Captain & Cokes and that never happens for me at chain restaurants. When the rest of our party arrived we were seated promptly and had a super friendly server named Shay. As we were asking questions about the menu she suggested taking advantage of one the specials. She rattled off 3 or 4 different seafood platters and everything they included, but it was do much stuff for us to take in so quickly that she then offered to take a picture of the specials board for us. We ended up ordering 2 of the largest specials platter they offered which each included a sliced lobster tail, 4 or 5 snow crab legs, 2 blue crabs, headless shrimp, (2) 1/2 corn on the cobs and a good portion of sausage. My sis-in-law and I shared a butter garlic platter with a very mild hint of heat that didn't hit til near platters end and our guys shared the same platter "Louisiana Style" which had their noses running close the immediately. The platters were delicious and at $41.99 a piece they left us full happily satisfied & looking forward to our next dinner night there. We were all very happy with our meal and the night and were still talking about it the next night. So, the hostess and busses were very friendly and personable just like Shay which we all, as outgoing extroverts, appreciate. ?... ps- I forgot to take a picture, so I'll be sure to do so next time.
The best seafood restaurant I've been to in years. Great service & friendly staff, ask for Amanda. The seafood is fresh & delicious. Great portions & seasoning choices. I have been here twice in two months. I will be a frequent visitor.
Great food, Great service. Food was excellent. And great hospitality. Highly recommend this place, the manager was so nice and personable. Love Fiery Crab. We had the House platters, it was so much food and very filling. Love it. Excellent seafood place. Can't wait to go back again.
