The first time I went here was on their opening day. Everyone had a super welcoming attitude and it was honestly a genuine treat to be there. It helped that the food was also extremely good and filling.Something I didn't expect is that, going back there again tonight (About half a year later), that attitude was STILL there. Not because they're just really good at keeping poker faces, but I could tell it's just genuinely how they are. The food was still just as good as the first time if not better as well!The owner, the little girl that gave us our food (Who already knew the ins and outs of the sauces/menu and will probably be running that place soon enough!), and Natalie all did an amazing job and clearly cared about their job, so much so that it felt like a family treating us to dinner at their residency. Such a sweet place, and The Buzzed Bull Creamery in the same building was also crazy, crazy good.This place is going to make me pay too much money for gas, 'cause I will for sure be going back very soon :).
Excellent food and service. Clean restaurant, friendly staff, and fair priced items. I got a sushi burrito and my wife got a bowl. The salmon was very good quality, tasted fresh, and had the proper texture. The edamame was perfectly cooked. I wish I would have added more sauces to my burrito as the toppings are mainly not very spicy so you can customize it. Exceptional crab Rangoon. However, I'd closer describe them to egg rolls over Rangoons. Still very delicious. More than enough food for 2 hungry adults. Wide selection of options to fit all choices including vegan or vegetarian. The sky is the limit with the toppings. The "burrito" held together surprisingly well considering how much was inside of it. The worker that made my order was very nice and even included some of the mango habanero sauce with my Rangoons when she noticed I enjoyed it on my burrito. It was nice to see a friendly person. Staff seemed very transfriendly as well. Dined in and can't wait to return with friends next time.
This was a great find, all the reviews are accurate. The owner was incredibly friendly and helpful with us figuring out what to get for our first time. I got the trio and it was so good. Almost every bite had a small variation of flavor and I loved it. I added the wasabi mayo and that was a great addition. It's a unique cuisine but super fun and delicious. Come give it a try!
Manager was super friendly and food was amazing . This is what is missing in current culture, a friendly atmosphere and great food. My wife and I got the Shaggy bowl and crab rangoon and both loved it . We will definitely be returning !
First time here and I was blown away! Awesome staff, awesome food, and overall just a great sushi experience. Can't wait to come back to baton rouge so I can try more of their menu!
Went for the first time the other day. It was soooo good, can’t wait to go back!!!! All the food had a great taste and it was all separated so you can pick exactly what you want. They also had a good selection of beer on tap. Add that the ice cream shop is in there too and it’s awesome !! Go by and try it!
The atmosphere is so nice and EVERYONE there is so friendly! The food is fresh and always good! We have been back multiple times since our first visit a month ago. You can enjoy your food and/or have coffee without leaving. Buzzed creamery is inside which is amazing as well.
My wife and I ate here for the first time last night and I will say this, it won't be the last. excellent food and the friendliest and most willing to explain every item on the menu. And the ice cream is as excellent and the bowls.
My husband and I each had the volcano bowl, but I did noodles instead of rice and salmon instead of tuna. Both of us were super impressed with how tasty they were! If you like spicy, then go for the volcano bowl! Can’t wait to try the Sunday burrito and crab Rangoon next time!! Helpful, kind staff and delicious, FRESH food!
The food is absolutely delicious, everything I have tried has been amazing! The staff is very friendly, some of the sweetest owners you’ll ever meet as well. You can tell just by the atmosphere when you walk in you’re about to enjoy some really good food and have nothing but excellent service.
