Used to be a well maintained restaurant/business. Madi (one of the assistant managers) is a caring, goal oriented and outstanding manager. Definitely need more like her. The workers are young and inexperienced, except for a few. A couple of years ago this restaurant was amazing with a well structured environment and properly trained employees. Somewhere down the line that changed. The quality and the portion size of the food went down, while the prices went up. Hopefully while they are closed the next few months they will reevaluate everything - everything from the food (maybe hire experienced kitchen staff) to the servers (possibly a more extensive training period) and regain some structure. P-Beaus has such high potential to be a 5 star restaurant, hopefully they can turn it back around.
We stopped in yesterday afternoon after a day of Bass Pro and Sam's Club shopping and so glad we did. Blackened Gator bites were awesome. I had the Gulf Shrimp garicqued and it was so good. Drinks were good as well as service. Just visiting here another week but planning to go back again.Update: we made a plan to go back in Sunday for another meal. Website says they are open 10 am - 9 pm on Sundays. After making the 45 minute drive from Reunion Lake we walk in at 4:00 to be told they are closed until 5:30. I said That's not what your website says. Gal said we decided to call a meeting. Bummer! A note on your website would have been nice. We left and had a very good meal down the street at Duke's
Had lunch special and meat was cold and they weren't that busy. I don't know.
Have been working out of town for a while, went because i love their country chicken. I got small embarrassing pieces of chicken and two spoon fulls of potatoes for 18.86. Will not be coming back
So far have been twice and the food is very good. Brunch and lunch are strong. The hash browns are above average. Fresh pork rinds for free when you sit down. I brought a work colleague who was in from out of town for lunch and he ate there every day after. Brunch was busy, but food came quick once we got a table. In fact, I think I may go now.
Small menu, but everything I've tried is delicious. We mainly go for brunch. The staff has always been friendly. The chicken and waffles are great. The shrimp and grits are fantastic.
I love the atmosphere and the food. The Brews on Tap though, that’s the real MVP. Always a good variety. Also the brunch menu is really good. Go for the shrimp and grits!
Casual place. Everything tasted fresh and good in this place, good portions, very fast service, workers actually concerned about what they served. Will come here again anytime I’m in town.
Service & food were great. Definitely try it out
A pleasant, clean environment. Friendly, if somewhat inconsistent service (inexperienced). Food was also inconsistent. Bodin Balls we're good but under-seasoned, while the Gator Bites we're perfect. Chicken Strips we're tasty but not crispy. Red beans were very good but the rice had a few uncooked grains. Beer selection had many local craft beers and many commercial selections.I will definitely go back, it was fun.One other thing: we were a party of 4 and the booth was too small for all 4 adults.
